… Still no VIN! This patience thing is hard, especially after a friend who configured one day before me (to be delivered to the same place in Lynnwood WA) got his VIN three days ago. Oh well, tomorrow’s another day (do they even put out VINs on Sundays?).

Interesting car. Looks like it was made of space-age plywood. Gaps looked good. Poor little girl said she’d been waiting since she was 2 months old to get the VIN. Plans to drive it a couple months, then sell it to a five-year-old in the neighborhood who’s willing to pay 10 times his weekly...

It is absolutely baffling to me that a company that builds a vehicle with next-level technology is not able to tell us where our particular order is in the process. All I hear is “They don’t tell us anything.” I don’t understand the secrecy.
