I recently had service for cosmetic flaws on our CT. I mentioned the left line hugging, they did a test drive and verified that it did not center and occasionally drove over the left line. Service did a wheel alignment and told me to keep sending in bug reports as they had no other answers...
Good matchup. I have RacingBrake on my P100D, stock size, upgraded pads and racing fluid. No fade on the track (remember the P100D is only good for a couple of hot laps). Over 100K miles and they show some wear, but work fine still. I did have to replace the parking brake pads, which is...
We just did 3,000 mile trip through a LOT of bad weather and got hit with road salt, some road oil (no way around the spray) and tons of ice melting rock. I clean at home. First was a high pressure wash to get the big stuff off. Then Chemical Guys foam and a 10 minute soak. Another pressure...
OK, "I am an idiot" time.
I carefully installed a Type S wireless backup camera. Took power from Tesla front camera (15V by my meter). Works perfectly - for 90 seconds at a time. Yep, I did not RTFM closely.
For those without a 3D printer...
Remove the stock mirror. Take a putty knife and carefully cut the double sided tape holding the glass to the mirror mount plastic. Do not pry, the idea is to cut it by pushing the blade between the glass and plastic backing. This will take multiple stabs...
Most trucks are commuters 90% of the time and haulers on occasional weekends. But on those weekends they are very much needed (motorcycle, boat, trailer, etc.).
Most that want a more street truck need only to change wheels and tires, a stiffer and shorter side wall along with more traction...
That pretty much explains the problem. FSD does not keep the car in front close enough so people pass on the right all the time.
Please solve this AFTER you quit hugging the left line and occasionally going over it. Early FSD stayed centered, some complained, but that is the correct way to...
I realize I am late to the thread.
Here in Fremont they were overloaded when my Model S was hit and I was allowed to choose a Tesla certified shop. You might have that option, don't tell Tesla if eBay parts are used. But an eBay trunk lid saved me at least a month repair time.
Got mine 2 weeks ago with covers misaligned. Delivery rep said they had to re-mount the tires. 5 ft 1" of eye candy that knew nothing about the truck past basic adjustments. Truck had no real flaws so I accepted it.
Took me under 15 mins to align hubcaps at home, probably less time than if I...
