When you have a Tesla, you're allowed to get spoiled. Other makers don't like giving more than you bargained for the day after you purchased without selling you a new car, whereas Tesla listens to their customers and pushes out helpful and fun updates for free years after you bought your car...
There are a few companies doing urban autonomous grocery carts where I live and it's fun to see! This idea of having last mile autonomous delivery is excellent for busy urban areas. Whether or not you like their food, it's great to see KFC branching out!
I love that we're talking about the ramp weight limit!! Thinking of it, the addition of the ramp combined with the lowering air suspension really give the CT an advantage over a lot of trucks in the market. It's like having your own moving truck for those heavy items like couches, appliances...
I'm a scout, but I don't carry my winter tires with me everywhere either. I do have a push scooter though, it can be a total lifesaver if you're stranded and need to go a few miles for help! Or if you want a fun last mile experience when you're out and about.
A first aid kit, jumper cables (for...
Am I the only person who saw the title and couldn't wait for the CT to be featured in a velociraptor chase scene in some new Jurassic Park movie?
I'm pretty sure the CT would be raptor proof and outrun one, too!
I can't wait for this! Imagine getting an alert that the spark was triggered and also getting to see the recorded and live footage of sentry most then and there? I would love to have this ability on my M3!
This is yet another one of the bazillion reasons I love Tesla: it's always getting better...
This thread clarifies a lot if you take time to read it. In short:
1. The FSD price IS guaranteed at the time of reservation as long as it was added then and you have an email confirmation showing FSD was in fact added
2. Changing your reservation may or may not change the date of your FSD lock...
Yeah I'm with you! There was another one of I think a Camry vs an old Civic, much less cringing due to a great loss. If anything, they should have used a junker version instead of a very pristine condition classic!
This video comes to mind when reading that. The CT would be like the Malibu and any other new car would be like the Bel Air: toast.
But what if two CT's get in a head on collision? ?
At least if it happens, you'll know first thing to dump all your money into TSLA stock! ? And then buy all the toilet paper, masks, and hand sanitizer you can while everyone thinks you're crazy until covid hits ?
If you like GoT, maybe you could name it Hodor?
As a Batman fan, I love The Tumbler idea!
Some other ideas:
The Dream Machine
88MPH
Door Dinger
Spaceman's Other Car
I wonder how much energy the semi can recapture with regen braking. Towing a heavy load, I could see regen going crazy when controlling downhill speeds!
If love to hear about regen data, anyone know of some off hand for Teslas in general?
And after a little digging, this article lays out some...
Having had 2 minivans and some crazy kids, I can definitely add my appreciation for sliding doors! They are huge lifesavers in tight parking situations (practically every day around here) and excellent for thr comfort and ease of getting in the littles, bluckling them up, loading and unloading...
Depending on the dock, this would be really easy in retrospect. Our family has had a boat my entire life and we go out all the time! The docks where I live are very streamlined and well organized, whereas we've been to others that are discombobulated and cluttered.
So yeah, I think it's totally...
It all depends on the model and trim that you have. For example, if you have a mid-range M3, that has depreciated at a much faster rate than the LR RWD M3 which appears to have plateaued in depreciation (a good thing!).
I bought my LR RWD M3 with EAP and 12k miles on it from a private party...
To add to all the awesome comments, the prototype CT's, semis, and plaid S already have the 4680's in them. Elon commented on battery day that they have "many vehicles" already using the technology.
So yes, they definitely accounted for the new batteries in its design as those prototypes have...
I would love to chime in on this as an owner of an early 2018 LR RWD M3.
I have had 5 service calls since purchasing the car second hand. All 5 of them were handled by a mobile tech, and took about an hour each (about 20min of fanboy-ing out with the techs is included).
Asking for service is a...
To clarify, I wasn't meaning invest in your company instead of a 401k. I meant if you participate in an ESPP plan (discounted shares) in addition to your other investment routes, don't turn around and sell the stock unless you have to, find a much better ROI, or think the company's going belly...
