Totally agree. We have one installer for the entire state of Connecticut. $4k is my install quote. Already have solar, backup gas generator and wiring to garage.
Got me quote here in Connecticut.
$4,000
need to run new 6 gauge MC wiring and low voltage comm wires about 90 feet through exposed basement ceiling, replace current generator switch. Install gateway and EVSe.
about double the $$ I was expecting.
Quote came quick tho. 3 days from site visit to...
Guaranteed to be an epic trip! Travel safe and enjoy the ride. Have done the same, from UC Davis to Connecticut on I-80, but in our Ford Raptor.
And I’ve gotta say, I shouldn’t be surprised by your stats having spent so much time on this forum, but I am as I hadn’t thought about a cross country...

Thought I'd share some observations from my Powershare site inspection this morning.
This company is the only one permitted to install Powershare in state of Connecticut
They've been overwhelmed by Tesla lately - sending them lots of jobs to quote...
Bruh, one just sold today on BaT for a cool $160k. Seems like some profit potential still. Maybe not runaway madness but 50% premium on delivered price seems reasonable.
Just got my email from Tesla, Powershare approved. Put in contact with a Tesla certified installer for Connecticut
Which is honestly one of the reasons I pulled trigger on FS in first place.
Current setup at our home - Tesla solar, Solaredge Inverter, backup gas fired generator and 50 amp...
I’m not an off-road racer, but that doesn’t look like a moderate jump in any way
more like a serious fall from height
the front end took entire brunt of impact
Congrats! When I was in Mt Kisco store a couple weeks ago, they’d not delivered any delivered any in NYS other than to Tesla employees/regional managers
Good luck!
Our Splash car wash here in Connecticut uses the same brush to clean wheels/tires. But the do not have that splash guard made of 1/4” steel plate on top. Seems like a totally bad idea. Push the brush too far and the steel plate makes contact. UGLY. Sorry for this happening to you.
Any idea how...
This is quite a project. Thinking out loud here...
A single Powerwall stores 13.5 kWh, weighs 251 lbs and costs $11,500.
To build your desired capacity of 112 kwh requires 9 Powerwalls
2,250 lbs and $103,500, not including the inverter and wiring required
Hoping you have a source for some...
Mount Kisco definitely has a large and very active service center - but I would guess they really don't have much experience with customer Cybertrucks - I drive by there often on my commute and the only one I've seen is the model in the showroom, which showed up about 1 month ago.
Hey there.
I’m on the list. Ridgefield, CT
Invited to order 1/9/24
Placed order 1/25/24

Planning for delivery at Mount Kisco, NY, about 15 miles from my house.
They have a CT at the store there. Only done 4 deliveries so far (all to NYS and all to Tesla employees)
This is very helpfu l analysis
How do you know CTs are leaving the outbound lot and not there for several days?
And if you were to extrapolate, how many actual trucks are being produced/day? Seems like it varies, from 30 to 40
