But if you buy outside of where live you don’t pay the tax there but when you register the vehicle where you live won’t you get zinged for the tax at that point?
I just saw 1.0% on a google search. So I would still pay 4.13% if I picked it up in either place? Wonder what it would be if I picked it up in Austin (don’t even know if I can do that)?
Thanks for the info. I’m down in Colorado Springs. We have a 1.0% use tax so I’ll be calling to take delivery up in Littleton.
So if you pick up in Littleton you only pay the 2.9% state tax?
Tesla already does this. After you take a test drive in a car (Model Y) they then ask, a couple days later, if you want to take an extended demo. The extended demo is for two days or three days if it’s over a Sunday. They got me with this. I didn’t buy new but I found a Model Y that a guy was...
I watched the video. They used two 9mm guns (MP5 and a pistol) and a shotgun. It was painful to watch because the idiocy of all the people there. The guy Adin is a fool.

Good news guys, I finally broke down and ordered a Foundation series. So with my luck they should be opening the non-Foundation series anytime now (at which point I will cry).
I just put my order in for a Foundation AWD with a claimed delivery from Feb to April. The rep at the Littleton store said the display model was delivered to a customer. They now have another one at Park Meadows Mall. This one you can actually touch and sit in!

Check these guys out. They need to advertise more! Good concept but I’m going to build my own that is fully enclosed like a topper (theirs is only halfway enclosed).
I think it was on one of the videos that it was mostly a people education problem. They for some reason didn’t know about battery preheating.
Another interesting fact was the rear wheel drive Model 3 only has so much preheating power due to having only one battery. So at a certain temp the...
I ordered the AWD but was going to spring for the Tri for the range. Now that the range is not there I will wait for the AWD and get the range extender later.
