I think Tesla knew the limit of this bolt. They wanted it to fail before the other more serious components. It is out of service and the truck can't be abused anymore. Replace the bolt and you are back on the road, but you stop abusing the truck.

Funny story. I went to pick up my m3 at SLC right before closing and they told me I had to go to Pleasant Grove. I did the test drive in SLC so I just assumed. I didn't know PG existed till then. Needless to say I had to wait until a Saturday to pick it up.

As far as removing the wiper, one muddy puddle splash and you might be done for even if the road are dry.
