Utah Cybertrucks Arrive at Pleasant Grove, UT for deliveries

I did touch it and it is real. I am really surprised @DumpsterFire and @HaulingAss are still waiting. Surely one of those are yours.

Accelerate your Cybertruck delivery with 30,000 Referral Credits

Same thing happened to me. I think Tesla lost the reference on purpose. I really do. Tesla lost a lot of credibility with me on that transaction.

First Cybertruck down while offroading! Rear steering tie-rod broken @ KOH (by Unplugged Performance)

I think Tesla knew the limit of this bolt. They wanted it to fail before the other more serious components. It is out of service and the truck can't be abused anymore. Replace the bolt and you are back on the road, but you stop abusing the truck. Clever if you ask me. Designing every...

    4680 Battery Chemistry Upgrade reference:

Yes only 10% due to chemistry and maybe a separate 5% or more later. That is why it is hard to market these changes.

    4680 Battery Chemistry Upgrade reference:

My understanding was Tesla wanted to use up the gen 2 components before they rolled out gen 3 and ramp up new lines

    4680 Battery Chemistry Upgrade reference:

The gen 3 rollout is a qanun drum for Tesla sales/marketing/production planning. One way would be to not announce them at all. Instead install the gen 3 cells as they are available and then software limit them to the current kWhr rating (range) that is being advertised. Then once all the...

Extended Battery release date, info & specs?

Poll: How many ladies here are buying a CT for themselves?

@Ogre has been pretty quite for a while. Taking a break?

Poll - Is the CT real?

Seriously I would love to see it when you or @Mattsplat get yours. It would be fun to see someone else enjoy the newness. I am a late July reservation so I won't get one for a while. Dinner or a brewski on me.

Poll - Is the CT real?

Funny story. I went to pick up my m3 at SLC right before closing and they told me I had to go to Pleasant Grove. I did the test drive in SLC so I just assumed. I didn't know PG existed till then. Needless to say I had to wait until a Saturday to pick it up.

Poll - Is the CT real?

Thanks the update. I am still looking forward to our dinner date with @JBee if he is still game.

Poll - Is the CT real?

@DumpsterFire I heard they have a CT on display in Pleasant Grove. They said it is roped off. No touchy no sitty. Not sure if it is work the drive for that. Did you get yours?

Cybertruck is almost sold out for 2024. Reservation conversion rate very encouraging (per Q4 2023 earnings call)

They don't want people passing on the CT waiting for Gen 3 battery and lower prices. I would wait.

Owner: tonneau bed cover is pretty water resistant and my consumption is 468 Wh/mi so far

Is there any rubber gasket material or is this all metal flashing and detailing?

Do you plan to remove your side mirrors?

I bet someone could make a quick release mirror to interface with the original attachment. As far as removing the wiper, one muddy puddle splash and you might be done for even if the road are dry. I get the desire, but difficult to implement.
