Truck bed - discoloration (as if sun damage?)

Do you have any videos of heavy or rough items before and after? I find the stock bed to be very slippery and toolboxes and other items must be tied down? What would carrying a load of gravel do to the covering in both scratch and adhesive holding up to the weight and dust (concerned about dust...

    POLL: FSD usage Poll

I agree with both bad map data and strange navigation decisions. I VERY rarely do not use FSDS. It is getting annoying somewhat, but I would rather be annoyed than not use it. The very first time I headed towards my house FSD got in the wrong go left lane. I turned into the correct go straight...

Just got a Trailmanor hard shell pop up camper -- towing stats

I'm not sure I will ever be in the market for a self powered trailer with regen (although lightweight solid state or some other advancements could do the trick, but likely hideously expensive). Still 500 miles while towing could be enticing ?

Just got a Trailmanor hard shell pop up camper -- towing stats

BTW, I did find an INSEECam wifi camera that magnetically mounts to a steel plate I fixed to the rear Trail Manor bumper. It works pretty good, my iPhone mounted near the charging pads at the front of the console. It would be wonderful if Tesla could figure out how to include this view for FSD...

Just got a Trailmanor hard shell pop up camper -- towing stats

You cannot see anything behind you, the trailer blocks the view. The rear camera only shows the trailer. When people are describing latest version I find this unhelpful because of the wide spread of current versions on various CTs. Could you possibly list both SW Version & FSD Version so there...

Ok I am confused as F*** now. This is the first branding as such by Tesla as of yet?

Hahaha, hilarious! Since the range extender is not available and perhaps may never be, it is definitely not that! So what to do…. Zoom in. A coil of wire fencing. Paul

    Cybertruck FSD Strikes - WTF?!?!?

I am enquiring about polarized sunglasses, not photo sensitive lenses (forgive me if I misinterpreted your message).

    Cybertruck FSD Strikes - WTF?!?!?

Can anyone tell me if the cabin camera is negatively affected by wearing polarized sun glasses. I just had cataract surgery and got a new prescription for my glasses, but I am still very light sensitive. The photo gray lenses are activated by UV and I think the Tesla glass removes much UV, so...

    When are we getting ASS?!

Does Tesla, or more specifically the CT have issues parking on a slope? I put down some white tape on my driveway hoping that the CT would recognize it as a parking space. It did! But while backing in (down a pretty steep drop before it gets more level, not flat) the screen shouts Take Over...

    Beware construction zone speed limits

I had a similar situation but FSDS handled it before I could. When I realized a truck was moving into my lane I quickly checked my left mirror and before I could turn the squircle FSDS had already begun the move. I was VERY impressed.

Navigate & autopark in assigned parking spot at work?

Does anyone know if I paint a parking space on my driveway that CT will recognize it and allow me to select it then start Park? Any advice gratefully accepted. Paul

My son is turning 8 on the 20th and I was wondering if anyone would give him a birthday ride along?

I loved your request and for .5 seconds I thought I could help. Then I read Louisiana. I live in Lafayette, California ?. Wishing you the best of luck in making it happen. If nothing else you could tell you son about the many CT owners who would have loved to give him a ride, geography being the...

700 winding miles in Oregon, mostly on FSD (v13.2.2)

Yeah, I too am a fervid FSDS fan. I recently had occasion to travel a few miles on a single lane, zero road markings road that would have dropoffs on either side of the road as we would through some hills. Though the speed limit was 25, the CT maintained a speed of between 12 and 19 mph...

    Who is getting FSD 13.2.2.1?

I got 13.2.2 a couple of weeks ago, CT AWD sn 51641. I wasn't aware of either FSD 13.2.2.1 OR AI 4.1. I have to say while FSD does some weird and sometimes really wonderful things, I use it for every drive, having to drive the very first and very last minute of each drive. I tell people I have...

Guy walks into traffic while on his phone. Kicks my CB.

This whole discussion reminds me of the following. My wife, who previously lived in Juneau, AK (very small town), and I were in San Francisco in the early 70's. I don't remember it all exactly, but I do remember her walking out into traffic. When I grabbed her and pulled her back to the...

Time for a new smartphone - Android versus Apple

My ancient Samsung S9+ is getting overly frustrating to use, so time to get something new, at least new to me. Having picked up my CT AWD about six weeks ago I see that Apple phones have provide more functionality than Android phones (like open the frunk when standing in front of the CT). I...

Questions about washing CT. specifically foam guns

I am looking for trouble free foam gun suggestions, pros & cons about garden hose versus pressure wash versions. Looking at reviews I find responses all over the map. Thanx in advance for any replies from actual owners/users of foam guns.

How do you describe the Cybertruck driving experience?

I just feel very, very fortunate. I waited 5 years and a week to finally pickup my truck since placing my reservation the evening of the reveal in 2019. Yes, I was frustrated with the delays, the increase in cost, the loss of range compared to what was announced, and finally the loss of the...

3D print Wheel Cap with Tesla Logo

What wheel are these designed for? The vast majority of these available on Amazon either do not say or have it hidden way down in the specs that these covers are for the Cyber Wheel ONLY (ie Beast with All Terrain Tires. They were NOT a good fit for the Core Wheel with the All Season Tires. Just...
