Hasn't flown off yet! it's got about 20K miles on it. doublesided tape. not the easiest thing to put on with one person. but i managed. Very bright. actually quieted down the airflow. it got louder with the roof rack, and this brought it down to about halfway between stock and with rack.

well they don't work the same way at the OEM lightbar does. that apparently has a chip that integrates it into the software allowing 3 different settings from one light. these are powered by the same roof aux, but they are dumb. i planned on adding a manual switch to cut them out, then changed...
Lights! gotta love them. I've always been one to put lights on my trucks. Pias, Hellas, KCs, etc. CT has been challenging, and fun at the same time. The lightshow makes it even more fun. I love the lightshows.
I currently have 28, some seasonal. Someday we may even be able to add foglights and...
Now someone (Sponsors) needs to make a tray for under the screen, now that it swivels. My original tray didn't fit. ordered a second that i thought would fit, it didn't. ordered a third, no go. i think if i modify the third one and use foam tape i might get it to work. but it would be nice if...
Woohoo. got my cap today! packing was serious overkill. an indestructible tailgate cap packed like a neon tube. fit is perfect. i think it took me longer to unpack than to install. You need a T30 wrench to remove the stock bolts and an M4 hex to install the new ones. You also need a Phillips...
Wow. Sorry Grok!
its behind the right rear fender (easily removable) it is not a standard chuck and needs a special fitting that uses a pin. I believe its an air conditioner fitting.
The wiring is a bit messy going into the 7 pin (there are a lot of wires) i keep thinking i should epoxy over it, but i always seem to add another set of wires. and the 4 pin is accessible and would probably be all i need.
the wires feed through the hinge of the tailgate and down into the hitch area. kind of a pain, but i'm getting good at it. nice and clean. i left the cord long enough to reach anywhere in the bed, or on the ground under the tailgate. the trailer aux is rated at 440w, the fridge only uses 45w
I use a 7 pin connector with the housing cut down to allow the door to close. Once you power the trailer aux it stays that way. of course you still have to take it out of full trailer mode each time, but thats minor and i have gotten used to it with my other lights.
Been on the road for a week now. looks like the fridge pulls about 1 mile/hr. i find that acceptable. a 10hr stay in a hotel only costs me about 10 miles. the trailer aux does cut off after 12 hrs, but the backup battery in the fridge picks up and keeps it cold.
The funkiness under the fridge...
one hint. the rear-view mirror can be moved to the right above the map. its bigger there and directly below where the mirror would be. also use the pinch maneuver to go to 1.25x. i also have a radar detector where the mirror was. not easy to find 12v in the camera bay, but i managed.
just ordered one from rpmtesla. 30% off for father's day. same thing, wasnt sure then i got an X loaner from tesla and it has power tilt. huge difference. so now i have to have one. No power, but how often would you need power tilt. less than $100 out the door.
The Bougerv has the optional battery installed. i will be doing more real world testing this week. I average about 1K miles a week and so far, it's only been tested around town and driveway,
