It still has "2024 models" and probably has not been updated since last year. When it is updated to reflect 2025 models, that's when we would probably have more information on the tax credit. I'm guessing February or March.
Tesla is currently offering small discounts (less than $7,500) on 2024 non-Foundations, and free Supercharging on 2024 Foundation Series. But those incentives have apparently not cleared out the 2024s as yet. The Supercharging deal is set to expire on January 31, so maybe Tesla expects that all...
I was thinking they would want to incentivize deliveries for Q1 2025. Either get the EV tax credit rolling or a drop in price. Inventory looks to be filling up. Its just strange the IRS website says it is eligible but tesla saying it is not.
You're with many people waiting on the tax credit to come live for individual buyers. The seller "Tesla" needs to issue a notice on their end to the IRS at the time of sale. That is not happening. So you will probably not be able to get the credit next year.
