you don’t have to pay extra for base autopilot in the Cybertruck. It’s not “not included”, it’s just not available yet. Actually, all the Founders Series trucks come with FSD, it just isn’t enabled yet. Both will get activated with a software update.
“Appluing” the brakes. I’ve never noticed a spelling error in a Tesla manual before, so that’s interesting.
With regard to the suspension height settings, in on-road modes you can only choose between low, medium, and high. After driving greater than 10/25 mph or 100 ft, it always reverts to...
I agree with this concern. I was a bit disappointed with towing in the Model Y because of the small size of the side mirrors, and additionally the small and weird shaped mirrors on the Cybertruck. I had hoped they would have included or offered an option for some extendable type mirror for towing.
I believe during the Munro factory tour video one of the Tesla guys said “when we start doing active noise cancellation” as in it isn’t activated yet. But aside from that hint, I would agree I don’t think anyone knows for sure yet.
It starts out all the way down, when the door latch button is pressed it raises a little, then when the door is closed again the window goes back down all the way.

Knowing the max ground clearance is 17”, we can do the math between this display and max ground clearance value to determine a reasonable expectation...
Every video I’ve seen of the truck that shows the door being opened or closed with the window completely lowered, shows the window slightly raise until the door is closed. I’ve never seen this behavior in a vehicle before and can’t quite figure out why it might be doing that. It’s definitely...
I know you can’t see behind the truck through the back window when the tonneau is closed, but can you see into the bed?
I had assumed the tonneau was a continuous thing is attached on some kind of axle that rolls and unrolls it (pushes and pulls it to make it move) like an industrial garage...
I’m not an expert in this field or anything but their entire focus for removing the paint and going with bare stainless steel was so it *wouldn’t* scratch like paint.
In addition, they made their own alloy to improve hardness and corrosion resistance, shot it, pushed shopping carts against it...
The angle of that photo is tilted back a bit. You can tell from the roof angle and background. The seats do appear to be very vertical but I would say this particular photo isn’t a good reference because it isn’t completely level, so it could be an illusion.
I agree it won’t be available for a long time, but I have hope they will eventually add it because early on they touted that as a key benefit of the semi which is going to be towing a trailer of various weights if not lengths as well.
I personally have been impressed at the capabilities Tesla...
Thanks for the replies. To clarify, I’m familiar with what a weight distribution hitch is, and I’m not planning to tow super heavy weights. The thing that is new and interesting to me about Cybertruck is the air suspension, especially as it relates to towing. I’m aware this demonstration isn’t a...
In the truck pull video shown at the delivery event, the Cybertruck and Rivian are squatting at the back end while the front end is pretty high. The rest of the trucks with traditional suspension don’t seem to do this. It was my understanding, and according to Elon, the air suspension is...
