Like I said, I have loved the truck! And in fact I ordered a 2nd Duel-motor model when it dipped to $59k. I wasn't sure if I'd keep the reservation, but now I think I might do a buyback with this and keep the reservation when it comes available.
Overall in so many ways it's an amazing truck to...
It's a gen 3 universal tesla charger. I have had it for 4 years and have used it to charge my MY and other EVs. I charge at 48 amps. Never had a single problem with it other than with the CT.
Right now I'm at 33k.
1st PCS went out 2nd day with truck
2nd PCS went out at 8k miles
1st PCS replacement: 1777777-02-D
2nd PCS replacement: 1777777-12-E
You can check my history for my previous problems, but my 3rd PCS is about to fail. I had #1 replaced about 6 weeks after purchasing in May of 2024. Then my 2nd replacement was in October of 2024.
Now this week my home charging has dropped to 24 amps and when I went to the service menu I had the...
I have the blizzaks and used them last winter. They were unbelievably good. I drive 60-70 miles a day for work, mainly highway driving. We had 2 huge snow storms where cars were sliding and crashing all over the place. With blizzaks I was cruising at 50 mph while everyone else was crawling along.
I mentioned this before in another thread, but there is a costco right by my service center that I stopped by right before an appointment. I bought one thing and one thing only--a box of my favorite protein bars. I left them in the trunk and the next day when I went to pick up my car they were...
You are correct in that not everything was a jump to a new build, but there are documented--and undocumented--changes that Tesla has made in the last couple months. The roof attachments were not left off the 2025 build. They are just buried under the paneling. That was a deliberate move and you...
If I'm not mistaken the inventory discount is for an "older" model. A lot of the brand new 2025 models coming off the line are with a totally different build quality. There's a few YT videos showing the distinct differences and improvements.
Yes I did. Software activates. No different than beast.

I have installed it myself on the glass. It was not hard but prep work is 95%...
I disconnected the lightbar and wrapped the wiring back up. The software is still there, and looks that it will not go away. Even my CT avatar on the main screen has a little lightbar added. My question now is if I add a 3rd party lightbar would the software still remain? I wonder if these...
Just tested it and can confirm lightbar software is automatically 'activated' and light and software are working on a non-beast foundation. As soon as I connected and turned on the feed a popup box arrived saying lightbar was installed. I'll look at mounting it sometime in the near future, but...
I Was able to purchase a Tesla Lightbar from somebody on this forum. I have a non-beast Dual Motor FS. I'm not sure how I'm going to install it because the SS is 2 hours away and I don't know if they will install it on a non-beast. If I do the install one thing I am hesitant about is the...
A couple weeks ago my seat would not slide forward. All the other movements worked, but sliding forward was stuck. Unfortunately it was stuck in the most-rear position. I could hear the clicking of the motor trying to engage "click, click, click, etc" but no movement.
Coincidentally I had a...
If anybody follows his Twitter, he is pretty vocal about his disdain for Elon's politics--almost to the point of trolling and being antagonistic. It is a totally different persona than his JerryRigEverything tone. He is a big liberal and only started turning on Elon and Tesla once Elon came out...
