Just got V14 on my Model S and LITERALLY didn't touch the steering wheel nor pedals the entire afternoon "drive". That included a noon on Sunday Costco stop (it went around half the parking lot before finding a parking space), a Best Buy stop (not too busy, parked quickly), and a grocery store...
I think they thought they'd be selling 250,000 of these a year, and instead, it's been more like 50,000 right now. Therefore, it's in the S/X range, except there haven't been years of them being produced, so it's literally the lowest vehicle count Model Tesla has. Their resources are spent...
Finally ordered the Terrestrial Armor Package for my early Foundation AWD. Scheduled for early December. Wife breaking off the back left "wind deflector" via running over a semi tire retread was the final straw convincing me to finally order it (well, that, and the fact that they might stop...
Ordered for my early Foundation AWD. Scheduled for early December. Wife breaking off the back left "wheel fairing/wind deflector" via running over a semi tire retread was the final straw convincing me to finally order it (well, that, and the fact that they might stop making these "Early"...
Not sure if I missed it, but I'd pick a more standard travel trailer for testing. Airstreams seem to be more aerodynamic than most, and are also the "Cadillac" of the RV world: very expensive compared to normal Travel Trailers (not saying they're not worth it, just out of reach for most people)...
Sorry to hijack this thread! I was always the same way until Thanksgiving last year (always Max, always with a case). A family member convinced me to try without one, and now, I'll never go back! BTW, I dropped it a ton with no ill effects. With the Air, they do sell a "bumper" that goes around...
iPhone Air definitely seems to not heat up as much as my iPhone 15 Pro Max did. BTW, pro tip: similar to the saying "don't test drive a Tesla unless you want driving every other car ruined", don't hold and use an iPhone Air unless you want every other iPhone to seem big and heavy. First time...
I've already had my 1 1/2 year anniversary (19 months actually)! I've only been back to service for recalls and to get my Aero Covers.
Owned Tesla's since 2017, and this is the best one yet!
Quick question: When you get out, does your leg ever catch the rough, textured side of the rub rail? When not in entry, I tend to have me leg(s) slide down the side of the truck getting out, hence the question. Thanks!
I always call the hotels directly (local phone number) and ask how many EV chargers they have, if they're working, and if they charge for them. I'm usually very flexible on where I stop on a road trip (i.e. after "driving" for 7 1/2 hours, 8 hours, 8 1/2 hours, etc.), so I just look along the...
Do you have the Cyber Wheels/All Terrain Tires covers, or the Core/All-season ones?
Haven't been brave enough to go through the drive-through car wash yet now that I have them. I used to all the time before though. I have the Cyber Wheels/All Terrain Tires covers BTW.
FYI, probably more like 18 days. They usually wait a week or two after the quarter is over so people don't smart having bought something the day or two before.
Ford F150 Lightning has entered the chat lol.
I watched in real time as Ford jacked up the price of F150 Lightnings (and Bronco, etc.). My neighbor bailed on his deposit because of it. Today, the starting price is 30% higher than it was when it was introduced 3 years ago (not 5)! A lot of the...
How's the ride? It should be awesome with the 18s, even without air suspension. Also, can you send more pictures? Showing the whole side, and close ups of the wheels/tires? THANKS!
