I'm in Florida, so probably a little different environment. The only hate I've ever gotten was captured on Sentry mode where an older woman (with her husband) gave my Tesla double bird signs...but it was to our Model S, not our Cybertruck lol.

I'm only at 10k miles, but they still look brand new. I "drive" mostly in an even better, more gentle version of Chill mode: FSD. I think that's why the tires look so good lol.
