Just picked up my Cybertruck from the service center yesterday. After over a year of owning it, finally took it in for all the recalls and updates (never experienced any issues, so wasn't in a hurry to get anything done).
They said they didn't do anything for this recall and that they'd let me...
I had the voucher, and then they sent an email saying it was now a credit in the Tesla wallet, and that's where it showed up. You can also see it when you go to buy something in the app (accessory) and you should see Tesla Credit as a payment option with a balance.
I tow once in a while, so I leave the cover off and the tow receiver exposed. If you plan on doing that, and there's no further damage, then I bet you'd barely notice. On the other hand, something of yours was degraded through no fault of your own, so having it replaced probably makes the most...
It looks great, but then I went and looked at the price. Am I reading it correctly? $4,000?!?! For a bumper?

There must have been a law change recently, and Rivian was the first to get it through the new process. Tesla has had them in Model 3's since at least 2021, but couldn't turn them on in the US because of the silly laws here. Same with side camera instead of mirrors...
I used to subscribe to Troy, but then he turned very pessimistic about a year ago, finding the negative in pretty much everything. His actual numbers are still really good for the current quarter's deliveries (i.e. aggregating data), but not his commentary nor his future, long term projections...
The tax credit was just announced/approved (the writing was on the wall).
In regards to controversial, you forget how "controversial" and unique electric cars were back in 2016! Now they're mainstream, but back then, it was very much unknown if they'd take off or if it was just a fad (think...
In the last few months, the AWD literally went down 27.5%! From $100,000 to $72,500 with tax credit (the last just recently happened). I think we don't know WHAT the demand is at that price point!
Also, the Model 3 was supposed to decline in sales once the backlog was exhausted...we all know...
@MyOtherTruck, do you know the rough range/efficiency hit from the Duratrac RTsc compared to stock? Also, were the ones you referenced the ones Tesla sells?

I'd try a boat cover, or center console cover first. Think of the difference with the tonneau cover open vs. closed. You want smooth airflow, not turbulent, which is what happens behind the center console. I think a full top boat cover would probably be the best (one that goes over the center...
FYI, since no one is posting here except to echo the OP, just wanted to mention I don't have this issue. Mine's an early build though. Hopefully it's just an adjustment.
@totonutz, can you list the exact tire size and spec? Also, ballpark what the package cost?
They look great!!!
Also, do you have any estimate on the hit to range?
FYI, FSD V13.2.1 is much better on my 2023 Model S than on my Cybertruck. I think the Cybertruck is a half release behind. It might be that way for a while due to how small the fleet is (for now). I'm just really appreciative that they're at least updating it frequently (vs. the longer wait for...
When people say the Cybertruck is terrible at towing, what they really mean is it is terrible at LONG DISTANCE towing. For around town, it's awesome!!!
