I have a very early FS AWD, no issues and it's been great. The main reason I haven't upgraded to a Cyberbeast is because in almost all driving situations other than full throttle, the default mode on the AWD is RWD, while the Cyberbeast is FWD.

The stainless steel is fantastic for durability. Sadly I've bumped into quite a few things (both wheeled and garage related) and it's still perfect. Even the "fragile" bumper has some scuffs, but isn't too bad. Overall I still love this thing after 15 months!

My crystal ball prediction is FSD goes unsupervised in the next 12 months, and after that, literally every Tesla vehicle will be sold out for the foreseeable future...
Completely understand, but just to give you another data point, we have both a Cybertruck and a Model S Plaid. The only reason the Plaid ever gets driven anymore is one of us has already taken the Cybertruck...
Tesla and the lab up in Canada they funded made breakthroughs years ago that a but eliminated battery degradation. I was always surprised me that they didn't implement it. Now with the Cybertruck, using TESLA'S batteries (not Panasonic's), it appears that we are finally seeing this breakthrough...
They will sell a ton of these if they can mass produce it just because it's so cheap. You don't realize how desperate people are for cheap, reliable transportation.

Sorry, I misread this! I thought you were talking about the black caps on either side of the bed, not the stainless steel ones on the side of the truck. Yeah, didn't get those replaced yet (not that I've had a problem with them at all in over a year). Literally got every recall done that came up...
