Would Cybertruck Look Good with Chrome Wheels / Rims - Scale Preview

"the mere fact that I'm present means that there's plenty badassery to go around." I love that. I scare people. If my truck is too badass, my wife will never travel with me. Trying to find ways to tone down the truck a little. Blue wheels and a smiley face maybe. :)

Would Cybertruck Look Good with Chrome Wheels / Rims - Scale Preview

I think it makes it look a little less scary and a little more fun.

Would Cybertruck Look Good with Chrome Wheels / Rims - Scale Preview

I haven't seen many pics with Chrome rims. It seems like the black rims are the current fad, but I think the non-painted rims have a lot more durability. My only experience with black rims was with winter rims on steel which I had to respray every couple of years.

Vault and roll up cover in cold climates

It will be like any other vehicle. We will have to learn how to deal with it's limitations. With the cover in snow, I am thinking a good sweep off with a broom (while standing on it!), Then maybe a shot with the electric leaf blower to clear out any snow stuck in the roller gaps. Then a preheat...

Ages of Cybertruck Owners Club members

I retired 14 years ago but we have been doing limited travel trailering and horse trailering because I would feel guilty about the GHGs. Once we get the Cybertruck, we are going all over. Trips planned across Canada, to Alaska and Mexico. Will also be looking forward to the FSD when the eyes...

    Aftermarket rock / skid plate?

Google maps is funny. I came upon this warning sign a couple months ago and had to find another route. This was after debating for 10 miles about whether I should continue trying this dirt road. Sad thing was that after making the one hour detour back to the correct road I remembered that I had...

    Pass through?

I'm trying to let Elon know that my favorite part of the Cybertruck is that it appears to contradict the planned obsolescence and planned need for maintenance that the auto industry has thrived on. Please continue to make the central goal of the Cybertruck to last indefinitely and minimize...

    Pass through?

I'll chime in. Same thing as the big wiper for me. Function over form. If it works like a hot damn, I am all for it. Vinyl cover will get ripped first trip through the trees. Leave it functional I say. Of course if someone wants to make there truck pretty, I guess that's ok too. :p

Roller Bed Cover Might Be Leaving

I thought they might be trying to obtain more room for a one piece retractable cover in the roof. Unlikely, but possible.

Roller Bed Cover Might Be Leaving

Big advantage over other trucks that it has a slope so airflow and rain will help keep it clean.

Roller Bed Cover Might Be Leaving

They seem to be doing airflow tests at the track with the bed open. Makes you think they are expecting that to be a common use case. ?

Roller Bed Cover Might Be Leaving

Maybe we could have a super strong central vacuum system to clean?

Roller Bed Cover Might Be Leaving

On the bright side, if the cover needs to be retracted much of the time, it will still improve the range numbers for the range testers and for long trips. ;)

Due to Tonneau Cover design, no bed-cab pass through

From the latest track footage, I am thinking they are moving to a one piece cover located in the roof. That would make a pass-through easier to work.

Roller Bed Cover Might Be Leaving

I started thinking about how many comments regarding the new footage of the Cybertruck on the test track have been about the change of looks, front-end, lights, curved glass etc. For me, I don't care about the looks. It's function over form. It is still, and will always be ugly. On that...

? Quad Motor Cybertruck and Crab Walk (Independent Front & Rear Wheel Steering) Confirmed!!

As with the initial unveiling it took me overnight to process. Wow. Most people I see driving have a hard time managing 3 controls - steering front wheels, braking and accelerating. Now he's going to add 4 wheels to Power vector and another set of wheels to steer. Can't wait to see how they try...

How will Cybertruck fare in mud-bogging?

I was thinking this morning about how the Cyborghini is going to fair on my mountain driveway. I've got a fairly challenging layout with a big medium curve followed by a steep climb, finished with a 90 degree left turn onto another hill. As always, momentum is your friend. Both the curve and...

What will be Elon's "One more thing" moment at the reveal?

I'm thinking it will be the trailer featured on the website. It will have range extending battery and make the Cybertruck into a hot shot vehicle to work with the semi in delivery services.
