It would be extremely disappointing and very poor form, if Tesla would not honor the original FSD price. I mean come on it’s software! incremental cost is zero and this goes to their earliest adopters - and the feature that is not even likely usable for quite some time.
It sounds like you’ve not spent any time doing commuting, or road tripping of any distance in an Tesla or electric car. You make it sound like they’re super chargers and level twos just around everywhere you want them — doesn’t work that way

You mean from 2019 which was four years ago? I don’t recall anywhere along the way where they have said the skin will continue to be 3 mm. And a lot of other things along the way have changed so it’s fair game for anything to be in question unless formally announced or in this case reannounced...
If you’re trying to get somewhere in a reasonable amount of time that’s not a very realistic option. In the six years driving a Tesla a few times I’ve had to use a level two have been horrible. It’s basically a last resort before calling the tow truck.
