I need to spend my $2500 voucher that I received for FS cybertruck soon and I am thinking of getting vinyl wrap offered by Tesla. Looks like they have it now in Seattle.
Has anyone done a vinly wrap by Tesla? If so, how is the quality and does it hold up over time?
And do you really need to...
Exactly! I just love the way it looks. I bought bunch of stuff like IronX, Bar Keeper Blah, etc. etc. and have yet to even open any of those. I just drive it thru a touchless car as needed and clean the interior with ONR solution (I like the inside to be spotless), but have 0 issues with...
Your service center/advisor is being extra difficult. I did all the signing electronically. I got the loan approved but did not close it till I got the confirmation my truck had landed in Seattle. Got the check delivered and handed it to them after inspection. The only thing that delayed things...
This is not right, I think the person you are talking to is not following the process or does not know. They allow you to upload a picture of your cashier's check that you can bring with you on delivery day.
I only gave my check at the time of delivery when I picked up my truck, after I inspected it. I had uploaded picture of my check via the app and they confirmed that was good enough. I did 0 down, other than the $1,250 that we all had to pay.
No issue, no delays.
I got 5.24% from USSFCU, 60 months, 0 down (excellent credit). The process was very straight forward. To become a member, you join some organization and USSFCU covers the fee.
The loan officer fedex-ed me the check and I gave it to Tesla on the day of delivery after my inspection.

3500 miles and no issues so far. I picked up my cyber truck and within an hour was on a road trip from Seattle to San Diego and back.
Loving every minute of it. Hopefully I didn’t jinx it!
If I had this choice, I would have certainly taken the grey option. But I love the white look now and am glad I didn't have that choice :) I have had my dog put dirty paws on it but have been able to clean the smudges easily with ONR. I have used that on dash, seats, all interior and it cleans...
I usually like to stop every 2 hrs. or so. I let the charge drop to around 10-15% and charge back up to 60-80%. I will stop for about 10-15 mins and next stop will be around 30-40 mins.
Best thing to do is stop overnight at hotels that have destination charging and ideally more than one...
I think that's what happened. I pressed the brake initially but did not go all the way and it was not stopping as quickly as I was expecting. But then I depressed all the way in panic and that's when it did stop. So, I guess I need to press it full when there is emergency.
I never had to worry about it. Max I charged was to 80%. Overnight I stayed at places that had destination chargers.
On the way back, I installed the Tessie app to track the usage. Here's the screenshot of one of the drives.
Yeah, I was bit scared to take delivery and then go on a long round trip an hour later. But I have 0 issues. My VIN is in 61XX range.
Funny story, the only issue had was during delivery, where they had put in an 8mm rivet and they said it was not up to spec and needed to be 9mm. And it took...
While going, I did end up going to Oregon Coast and driving on 101 for quite a bit thru the Redwoods. That was lot of fun. But on the way back it was pretty much the fastest route back via I5.
I picked up my new Cybertruck AWD on 4/25 and without skipping a beat, I decided to take a road trip. We're talking Seattle to San Diego and back, a whopping 3200 miles round trip. Strap in, because here's the lowdown on my electrifying adventure and some thoughts on this futuristic marvel that...
I had picked up from Seattle on 4/25. It was lightly raining that day and the truck was outside. So it had water drops on it. looked pretty clean to me. Inside was spotless. I was just happy to get it. I did a quick inspection and found no issues.
Right after that I started a long road trip...
