I pick up today in Seattle. I am not trading in - love my Model S with unlimited super charging and FSD! Have over 150k miles on it. Plan to keep to as long as possible.
Will take uber or have my son drive me there.
The smart thing (in my humble opinion) is to lease a R1T for 3 years (they have great deals) and then get CT once all the issues have been resolved and pricing etc. is all standardized.
But of course, when you want the CT, then all logic goes out the window :) I had to make the same decision...
I did offer to get one from Home Depot, but they said they have to follow it to exact spec and they are not allowed to deviate at all from what they need to use. I think this is what got them into this mess to begin with, so I don't think they will deviate from the specified process at this point.
That’s great. I was told today they ran out of parts and it may take another 1-2 weeks even though my truck is here. I am not sure what to believe anymore. It will happen when it will happen.
My delivery center is Seattle. I sent a text today to check on the status. They said the CT has arrived in Seattle, but currently waiting for repair. No ETA :(
I am in Seattle area too. 1st day reservation. VIN received 4/3. CT is in transit and should arrive any day. That has been the story for past 7 days :) Was told yesterday that is most likely coming today. We will see...
You could get it in few days or could be waiting a month!
I know, I should not get my hopes high. But I have now received this confirmation of my cybertruck reaching Seattle Apr 21 - 25 timeframe from 2 different sources. And with the vin assigned April 3, based on other WA deliveries, I think it is close.
I am day 1 reservation holder, reserved very quickly after the announcement. I configured Dec 29 (AWD). Got the vin on April 3, I believe. Have been waiting quite impatiently since then.
Just went to Seattle SC to figure out the status. Initial response was they don't know, wait for them to...
