Joe sicked his dogs on Tesla [Deleted due to POLITICS]

There was a surge of these headlines this week. I wonder who is orchestrating this "not news" update and why. Political agendas? Short sellers? How does News media get away with this time after time? It's getting old. Are YouTubers actually getting more cred than mainstream news and...

    Is factory pick-up a no-go for 2 more years?

Oh man, is it against website rules to post legal stuff or government policies? That would be a bummer.

    Is factory pick-up a no-go for 2 more years?

Circumventing the law can be easier than changing it for sure! ...and sometimes outdated laws just stop getting enforced.

I saw an uptick in interest in this old topic so I reposted with updated information.

    Is factory pick-up a no-go for 2 more years?

As many of you know it is illegal for direct factory to consumer sales. A dealership network is required to protect the consumer in Texas and will be at least until Texas legislature meets again in 2 years. Is there some way Tesla could find a creative legal loophole to still allow us to do...

Fascinating look at Sinton, TX plant being built to produce stainless steel Cybertruck exoskeleton

STLD is the ticker. I bought a couple when I heard about the Sinton plans way back when. Seems to be a solid American steel company. But I'm no expert. If it's good enough for Tesla and SpaceX is good enough for me.

Side cameras / mirrors - any NHTSA updates?

@ÆCIII I love the idea of removable mirrors if legal work around while we wait for government. The cameras will already be there.

Why I'm Getting The F150 Lightning

That's a great example why V2H is desirable but I would be worried that saving $$ up front might cause excessive battery degradation and cost $$$$ later for frequent charge and discharge cycling. Ford has not proven battery life yet. I don't think Tesla wants to deal with battery warranty issues...

    Cybertruck Event [SPECULATION]

I'll be the wet blanket on everyone's excitement and remind everyone that Elon has boo-hoo'd V2G (or home) in the past couple years and talked about complexities and concerns for doing this. I for one would love this but not sure if I would pay the extra money for an electrician to hook to...

Side cameras / mirrors - any NHTSA updates?

Don't want to get too much more in the weeds about this and high jack the thread, but yes active correction would be cool and researchers are trying to make a viable option but the implications and engineering to make this happen are quite complex. For example, I have difficulty getting my cell...

Side cameras / mirrors - any NHTSA updates?

I'm actually concerned about screens being used for driving in vehicles from a vision safety stand point. Anyone who is over 50 or uses some sort of bifocal may understand. Currently to be safe, drivers only need to be corrected for distance to see. Looking out the windshield, looking at...

Interesting visual of the Cybertruck vs F150

Nice visual. I can't believe I missed this video till now. I was thinking the same thing on length. I believe the CT will allow the passenger cab to sit a little lower due to exoskeleton design versus traditional cab on frame. This may allow more headroom.

    F150 Lightning vs. Cyber Truck

Nice vid. A lot of people rely on dealer network and service for peace of mind in new vehicle purchase. Cost of insurance, accident repair and other service issues a concern for those used to big dealer networks. Tesla has yet to prove its service network on large scale. But I'm willing to...
