Yeah, i've got the center hub covers on now, but was looking to see if they had any full aftermarket aero covers available. Just a way to switch the look up without getting a whole new set of wheels.
They scratch through the coating and into the metal on the arms or forks where the clips lock onto the wheels. I was looking for some pics online when I came across a FB post saying the put heavy duty electrical tape on the clips. Might see what other solutions exist, but was really hoping for...
Has anyone found any aftermarket aero covers for the Core wheels? I've found a few for the Cyber wheel, but none for the Core wheels. Just looking to change up the appearance a little and didn't want to put the factory ones back on. Those have a tendency to scratch the wheels and I already had...
Got a call from Discount Tire today. Said these came in. Ended up cancelling as I was at the wear bars and went with the Wranglers as they had them at Les Schwab. They came with a 60 day satisfaction guarantee so I gave them a call and said I wanted the Pirellis instead. They'll have them...
I agree with this. Step one on the road to Powerwall compatibility. Also, another effort to support the community and the grid which is arguably more important than extending the battery capacity of individual homes. Good news overall IMO.
That seems very loud. It sounds like the front motor. Mine makes the same noise but significantly quieter. I really only hear it if I have the music off.
Interested to see what other settings reveal. I'll have to mark this thread to stay up to date. Would be even better if you could get your hands on a set of LH woofers to see if they make a difference. I would imagine a more efficient speaker can use the power delivered to drive them harder...
Just an update if anyone is watching this thread. These tires went live on Discount Tire 2 days ago. I ordered a set as they said they're available to ship to store in 2-6 days. However, a rep just called and they said it went up too early. Pirelli confirmed production starts on these tires...
I called and spoke with an engineer at Cerebrum. He said the Cybertruck does not have the hardware necessary to read any of the other data the advanced sensors could provide.
I get it, it doesn't really make sense to have them simply for another form of redundancy, but it would seem that is...
Per Cerebrum, these are only redundant TPMS sensors. They lack the full functionality of their other sensors. You can verify this by placing your phone near your tires and searching bluetooth for available devices. If the sensor shows up, then it is the advanced version with the full sensor...
If you can hack it, then offload it and get an AWD. If you really can afford it, then get the CB. Me, personally, while a free truck is awesome, I would sell it and get the AWD. The air ride and speaker upgrades by themselves would be worth it for me. However, if I couldn't afford it, i'd be...
