Holy cow, there is literally not 1 news site where this is not front page news. They are practically frothing at the mouth for something that impacted almost no one and was fixed immediately.
But a mountain of comments. My co-workers were so worried that they kept telling me they are seeing...
Do you take the tires off the wheels yourself or do you just have a second set of wheels and swap them out each time? Do you have a lift? Just curious, becuase I like the idea of swapping tires, but just seems like a big pain in the butt... but I am old and lazy now too.
Oh really? I didn't know that was possible. How much faster before it disengages I wonder.
When you are doing it, do you guys hover your foot over the brake for potential issues? I guess thats the benefit if it goes super slow, it should be obvious and give you time if it is going to screw up.
The OP says is 11% less efficient, I ask could be tire vs. wheel, and you say there's no difference. So why don't you just respond / tell the OP that he is wrong, because you looked at the tires and said they have the same stats so no difference...
This is fantastic - would love to see more like this - black fade to all different shades of red, blue, purple, orange. All would look great with this pattern.
Beast or AWD (most Rear motor issues seem to be beasts, which is why i am asking).
Generally Stock tires at 20K is about as much as you can hope for give or take.
Here are some fun responses to those who have to give you negative comments:
Do it with a smile and a laugh - I have had people realize they were being an asshole and laugh back. Others got extremely angry and drove away all flustered. Both are wins.
"That thing is ugly"
- If I looked like...
From making right turn, the left door could swing open. or vice versa. Not saying what actually happened, just explaining how you could have a door swing open while driving.
I know some states have authorized insurance companies to charge more than double the rate from 2023. Wonderful isn't it? I know I didn't get a 100% raise this year (or a 26% raise as appears to be the national average for this year).
I got it, won't trust it. It should be good help when finished though. Forward warning is like 2 feet off (which is awful for parking and totally useless). Rear and side seem better but have not gotten to the point of testing in detail.
When I got mine, they couldn't care less what day I came in to pick it up. they were very flexible and nice about it. To be rigid about a pickup date to the point they lose a sale sounds like utter nonsense.
