there is a way to clip the retaining cables on either side of the tailgate so that it does not fold flat. yours might be that way? checknthe manual for details
Weird FYI: I tried to schedule a tire rotation in Devon, but they just informed me that the lifts there are not able to loft CTs so I had to reschedule. (Cherry Hill is up to the task).

I think there are posts on the forum about someone who relocated their fsd cam just as you say. a wireless additional fsd cam that could be located wherever would be pretty awesome though.
agree with this. you want to cover the joint between the aerocover and the glass of the roof, not the free edge of the aerocover (thats where my fix was most effective at least)
