I spanked my monkey in my truck today. He deserved it as he's a 'trunk monkey'.
He likes 'junk in the trunk'.
But seriously, I drive my truck everywhere now that the weather is getting nastier (not that I didn't all summer also). I may wash it for the 3rd time this spring (maybe).
I think it is vital for CyberBeast trucks. There is a whole 'nuther' forum dedicated to the "skipping" of the front tires under modest acceleration on questionable road surfaces (with CB trucks). I notice it on acceleration over pot holes, gravel, ice, rain, and anything else that compromises...
Oh, and for the record, I've washed my truck a total of 2 times EVER and I've had it since May of 2024. Once in the spring to wash the salt off and once just because. I have cement splattered and hardened onto the driver's side (don't ask) that I plan to clean off maybe next year.
I would like to know about this too. I've had the WORST luck with using third party chargers and HATE being forced to download a stupid app and sign up for an account just to use a charger.
I got mine about 3 weeks ago and absolutely LOVE it!!! The whole thing is useful and there's no downsides that I've encountered yet. My favorite place to put things now is in the top, right in front of the cup holders.
To be perfectly honest, when I was a preadolescent, My friend Jason and I would run through fields to get to our special 'hiding place' and throw rotten apples at passing cars. It was absolutely thrilling until the fire department got involved (and then parents). We got our asses whooped and...
Ahh, Windows... half of that RAM is for running Windows itself and the other half is for running the antivirus suite that you must run on Windows. Do yourself a favor and run Linux instead.
I've grappled with BT controllers ever since I got my truck. Some worked (hit or miss), some didn't work at all and some would cause some games (Startdew Valley, Cat Game) to crash randomly. Then I bought a new, PS5 controller and had no problems. As far as the USB and controller, yes, you can...
I installed mine yesterday. Easy to fit together and is an excellent addition to the interior of the truck. I especially like the area on top between phone chargers and screen, very handy.
I'm sorry to hear about your bad luck. I believe that I got lucky as mine was delivered to me in spring of 2024 and I've never been back to SC yet. Some observations since delivery:
Things that fixed themselves:
1) I did have a noise from what I believe was the door hinge whenever I got on...
I had someone throw a half full water bottle at me while I was waiting in the left turn lane at an intersection. It just bounced off of my window but the temptation to chase the guy down almost got the best of me and instead I decided to try and identify his license plate from the dash cam...
