How to get the CT to maintain a minimum speed on a 80 MPH Limit interstate?

I would not like the governor approach. There are times I want to floor it, and I don't want it limited to 85. Wouldn't it be better if it just shut it off temporarily where you could take over and then resume when you get back to FSD speeds? This would have to make sure you wanted it shut off...

How to get the CT to maintain a minimum speed on a 80 MPH Limit interstate?

Yep, every time there is a new speed limit, you gotta spin that track wheel down to your max of 65. At least you can manage it. The other way is annoying...

How to get the CT to maintain a minimum speed on a 80 MPH Limit interstate?

I'm definitely with you on yelling at the truck! I engage manually and drive only when I know I'll be over the 85 FSD limit and well below the CT limit!

How to get the CT to maintain a minimum speed on a 80 MPH Limit interstate?

Driving out west where they have those big speed limits of 75 or even 80, I find FSD very annoying because it keeps slowing down and I have yet to get it to maintain a speed of 83, 84 or 85, without have to nudge it back up. It will hold it a minute (at most) and then slow back down. The CT hard...

Whoops; funny: Does anyone else have their CT mirrors adjust out of your settings?

THANK YOU @CyberGus ! I will try that out. Hum, I don't smoke but those beans on camping trips might become an issue...LOL

Whoops; funny: Does anyone else have their CT mirrors adjust out of your settings?

I don't use the side physical mirrors on the CT very often but old habits, from decades ago, die hard and occasionally I glance only to see nothing helpful cause they somehow reset. They would be helpful if a plane was landing on me from behind. I adjust both mirrors (usually while driving and...

Remember range anxiety? - we don't talk about Range Liberation enough

Having made three trips in 2024 between NJ and SoCal, I answer those questions with "the truck goes way farther than my bladder can so I have zero range issues!" My only trip to the gas station is for the big lawnmower and snow thrower, and yes, I love doing that trip in my CT.

Windshield wiper/sprayer not cleaning full windshield anyone?

Noone seemed to suggest this temporary workaround? I tend to try to wash/squirt the windshield when the truck is at a very slow speed; less juice gets wasted and more ends up on the windshield. I also would love the option to have it squirt on the downward thrust as well as the upward thrust!

DIF _a251 Gearbox fluid service required

I just got this message this morning driving through New Mexico on my way back to NJ. So found the next Service Center on my way which was Albuquerque and they are checking it out. They included an engineering group (3 letters?). It was 19 last night so could be cold issue. The warning was gone...

When did the FSD speed limit drop from 90 to 85? Not knowing that earned me my first strike; drat!

Off Peak Home vs Supercharging ???

My son just moved near Carlsbad and finds it cheaper to hit a supercharger than to charge at home. Crazy expensive there. I will have him call about an EV plan. THANK YOU!

Auto Park for Cybertruck installed (2024.32.5 update)! -- Video in action

Someone else commented on how much the wheel moves and my reaction was maybe I need to do that to get the back end of the truck in the middle of the spot so I can stop taking two or three tries to get the back of the truck in the middle of the spot. I was not doing such large wheel turns...

What's your favorite color for the ambient lights?

I keep variations of bright PINK! Yep, guilty, I show my support. I also run a Scout Troop with boys AND girls so gotta align with my audience. I love adjusting it based on TSLA stock change!
