I should know better than to poke you, but my 2015 S definitely charged slower in it's later years! I'm happy if they don't do that to other models since those are all i have now. Thank you for the insights!
That is very ANALytical of you to know that; impressive! Is that your record keeping or some variable you accessed? I'm sure my S went above 95% way more times and had about 12% degradation over 9 years with about 180K miles.
For those concerned, Tesla slows down your supercharging speeds as it...
My Tesla tire experience is way better than discussed above. And when a red light changes to green, 90% chance I POOF! I don't baby my tires but my CT is my 5th Tesla and only my 2015 S is no longer with us so I have plenty of Tesla driven miles (well, technically AutoPilot driven). I got 42,700...
I knew the CT would be a tight fit in the garage, and only one of my bays could fit it given how much longer and wider it was than my S which eventually I got comfortable parking there. I was pleasantly surprised as I approached the small garage door opening with a massive truck and wondered how...
With my Teslas, I find it never tops back up after it charges to your set limit; if I don't drive it for days, it has certainly dropped more than one day. The only event that sometimes restarts the charging to your set limit is some software updates; sometimes when it comes out of the update, it...
Let’s start at the bottom.
TACC is traffic aware cruise control. It maintains your speed and slows for a car in your lane not going as fast as you. It won’t change lanes, it does not keep you in the lane - no automatic steering.
Auto Steer adds to TACC by keeping you in your lane. This makes...
Wasn't there a gent that analyzed the code that was released. He would share another potential camera feed or some branch that predicted a feature. I remember Rob Maurer (The Tesla Daily guy) would always quote him but I never paid attention to the name cause I thought Rob would continue to...
In keeping with this thread, is it a dream we will get AutoPilot sooner than FSD? Or have to wait for both together?
I can’t believe we don’t have AutoPilot. If my single front camera 2015 S can steer and TACC (using radar), why can’t our CTs since we already have TACC!?
thanks
Thank you @AlmostHuman; greatly appreciated! Can you tell I'm not a truck guy...LOL! BTW my vote is UTAH has the best snowboarding; I need to visit Brighton again.
Never mind! Skip this. LOL
Noticed that the NJ DMV Universal Title Application says my truck weighs 9,169 pounds but the Tesla website for AWD says it weighs only 6603. I realize the AT wheels and tires likely weigh more but 2,566 pounds more sounds off? It’s not the bottle cap opener!
What...
Awe, that is a bummer; sorry that is happening to both of you. Do share a post if the drive units fix it, please! thanks. I pick mine up tomorrow; so excited!
I really like the under-screen cubby like my S has; I would order that today for my truck for tomorrow. But it needs a cover so every time the light turns green and I poof, all that stuff doesn't launch to under the seats... Not POOF'ing is not going to happen. LOL
The Powerwalls have very similar functionality that you can geek out over in the App; it gets old, but IS handy for finding out what is ON. But I've never noticed in seven years that the Powerwall app was ever "confused about sources and loads". I do love the instant seamless grid to battery...
For my Model Y in February (in NJ), the plates came via UPS about two weeks after. The vehicle did have a temporary plate when I left the Service Center.
The forum where I found that many 2015’s did this, said it was toxic and described where it would likely leak out of the dash, and how to clean up and with what, so I believed them. That might be a shame on me! It certainly is some incredibly sticky goo.
I have a 2015 Model S and that was the year they added goo and glass on top of the monitors. When it got really hot, the pressure breaks the seal somewhere and now toxic goo oozes out on every hot day in the sun; on both the dash screen and middle console. I think they called it the crying...
