Had the same problem. It was the two plastic housings on the steering column. I was just going to run some sanding paper between the two housings. Took it to the service center and they fixed it in about half an hour. Turns out the just ran some sanding paper between the housings.

Take the deal, get the cheaper cybertruck with FSD transfer, then use the extra cash to buy TSLA stock.

Yep. I have had it drift so far left, that it just changed lanes and then moved on, drifting across the left yellow. No turn signals used.

That is steer by wire. When the vehicle is turned off, the steer by wire does not necessarily hold. Standard, nothing wrong with that.

If someone posts steer by wire failure, then never responds to the requests for more information, I am thinking troll? Tesla "disliker" trying to cause a problem?

I had the same problem. Put it in the app for maintenance. They replaced mine without a problem. New one is much better.

Cool. Have to decide for yourself. I think you will love it, but that is me loving mine.

Decide only after test driving one. I am in love with mine, the way it drives, the space, the utility, even the look. Ask around and see if someone will let you drive theirs, wherever you live. I would say SURE!
