It is not running at tank pressure. I keep the tank pressurized and the initial inrush quickly fills the tire until equalized at which point the compressor is running at tire pressure. Your pump looks good too, but is much more expensive. I also use a 4-tire manifold hose setup.
The compressor...
Be careful with that Craftsman. It says 5cfm, but that's at 0psi for inflating something like an air mattress. At the common standard of 90ps, it's probably a comically small number like 0.1 scfm and likely has a 5-10 minute duty cycle.
This is the one I use. It's a "real" compressor with no...
This is what I did. I purposely didn't do a test drive when a friend showed me his. I wanted my first driving experience to be with mine after pickup....it was freaking amazing!
Congrats!!! I've had mine for 5 months today and it's been a dream. My June/July build is literally flawless (haven't found anything wrong yet). I wish I could go through the joy of picking it up all over again. You'll love it!
V13.2.1 just installed on my Cybertruck! I'm a few hours from getting off work, but can't wait to test it out! I'm an "OG" FSD beta tester from 2020, so not sure how soon this will go wider. I'm stuck on HW3 in my Model 3 so I haven't been getting the latest builds on that car for a while.
It depends. I've definitely seen it hug the left line, but on subsequent drives it does fine. Some weird software glitch. In this situation, if I manually drive, the lane departure warning will go off if I move to the right even if I'm still in the lane so it's as if it is detecting the right...
Let's talk solutions. The LEDs are addressable by the car's computer and can be controlled via PWM. There could be a software solution involving driving the LEDs in such a manner (when below 0C) that they output a percentage extra heat while staying within the designed thermal limits of the LED...
Has anyone actually measured how much heat is generated by the headlights? If the consumption is 50W per side, there is still probably 5-10W of heat even from LEDs. That isn't enough to overcome a blizzard, but it's enough to melt most snowfall that people actually drive in.
Assuming this is a problem, the solution is a quite simple recall. A purpose built transparent resistive heating layer rated to about 60 Watts per side should be enough to keep the lamps clear. Would need integrated thermocouples to make sure you don't melt the plastic lens and to keep the...
I have an appointment to have the windshield and camera cleaned in a few days. Mine is 4 months old so I'm hoping that it can be cleaned once and for all.
Too many people overlook this. The Foundation series costs more, but you're getting a lot of options and is fairly priced. Powershare and FSD are a must have. The only real "options" IMO, are the wheel upgrades and interior color.
And here I am listening to podcasts 99.9% of the time. I actually turn the bass slider all the way down because I don't like the boomy sound or risk of people outside hearing it.
I had my Cybertruck windshield tinted with Xpel XR Plus 55. I think I'm happy, but at night I do get ghosting where lights and signs have a ghost above and below the actual light source. I'm only 2 days in and it's been cold/cool so it definitely isn't dried yet.
Do you think it will get better...
It's absolutely incredible that they've sold ~40,000 Foundation Series trucks. That's over $4B of revenue. Who knows about profitibility though....seems like it should be profitable at that price.
