Interesting concept. I like the idea of having more clearance but it also means less buffer for the air suspension to handle bumps, potholes, etc., especially at highest settings. Could this lead to damage?
Also assuming it would be a negative for using launch mode (cheetah stance) on a Beast?
Love the CT but still find myself regularly driving the 6 year old Model 3 for quick errands and even longer drives now and then. It’s still such a fun little car and attracts way less attention.
I saw another poster here a few months ago say that when they were in a hurry, they knew better...
It is liberating but I’m still skeptical. Plenty of videos of panels being shot at, kicked, etc, but are there any real world tests showing heavy doors with concentrated, vertical force being slammed against the panel or trim, or, deep key scratches?
On one hand it feels invincible but on...
Before delivery, seems every reviewer raved about how quiet the Cybertruck was. That has not been my experience at all.
My Beast is actually quite loud. AT tires seem to account for a lot of the road noise. I enjoy the motor whine but regenerative braking is loud enough to be picked up by...
I’ve experienced the same jolt on multiple occasions at a stop light, but instead of raising, it feels like it is lowering. Cars beside you can easily see/hear the dump.
Hoping this is something that can be fixed with software in time.
Also received an email from Qmerit and spoke to them on the phone. For legacy Beast orders, they are waiting on Tesla to give them a list of people eligible to receive the installation credit. There is nothing they can do until then to move the process forward. My rep spoke to the Program...
Your MyQ subscription is tied to your account, not the particular equipment. You can also use the account on multiple Teslas.
We have it going on 3 door openers, 2 locations, 2 Teslas, from a single account. Still pricey but much better value in this scenario. Biggest question now is will it...
I think we’re still waiting for a definitive answer on this. There is no mention of $4K on Qmerit’s site. My quote is now ready to approve and I need to find out to proceed.
I also haven’t seen where any Cyberbeast owner has received the 2.5K voucher email; only AWD. Anyone?
Haven't received the email yet. I am currently on step 3 of the Qmerit process (local installer has submitted bid to Qmerit which has to review before releasing to me).
It will be super messed up if Tesla doesn’t honor the $4K credit towards labor on the Beast. I think they will do the right...
The camera quality is excellent but it is annoying that we can’t see both front & rear at the same time.
In a tight garage, I find myself having to check rear, check front (to make sure garage is cleared), then check rear again. Unnecessary swiping when you should be able to concentrate on...
Picking up Cyberbeast 10,nnn on Friday at Pond Springs (Austin). Visited on Sunday and saw another beast, VIN 11,0nn, sitting on the overflow lot with 7 or 8 AWDs.
Same question here. The initial 'survey' email looked generic and the links are all expired. About to take delivery and would like to know how to get the Powershare installation going.
