I know the white last the test of time and can be cleaned, I just don't want to constantly clean finger prints and small smudges. Day 1 of ownership white panels had fingerprints. OCD kicked in too hard on it lol.
See image below. All the tabs circled in blue must be separated. The best way to do this is take an osicalating tool and cut into the very top of those tabs where the OEM welds are. Cutt off as minimal as possible so it goes back together easier. Grind off just enough and then use a razor blade...
No it wouldn't look good. There is no gap in the panel to tuck the fabric between it and the light mechanism. YOu need to break the plastic weld to be able to fold the fabric over the top of the panel under the light cleanly. Requires plastic welds being cut to do so.
THANK YOU! I rock many of TWRAPS do it yourself PPF on this build. headlights, tail lights, pillars, as well as carbon fiber steering, cup holder and charger. Your products fit perfectly, never an issue!
What do you mean was this not possible? Was what? Taking the panel off? Putting grey fabric on it? Not positive what you are asking? Your photos look like what I assume is going to be the OEM tactical grey panels. Those panels aren’t available to order yet. The white ones are $445 per door, and...
it is just a sticker I put there. I have a vinyl plotter (machine that cuts vinyl stickers and more), so just made that myself, The passenger side has a foundation logo, thought something was needed on the driver side to balance it out.
When you remove a door panel send me a photo of the back and I'll circle which plastic welds you need to cut. As there are some you don't have to.
I learned the hard way on door trim number one, cutting them all and then once apart realized oh ok only those 6 kind of thing. Made for a much...
Yes, the ambient light has 2 power cables coming into each door panel, they are just clipped in pigtail type. So just push the pig tail down and pull out on both.
HAHAHAHAHA. Took me probably about 12 hours total, I did it over a weekend. The easiest was the big center dash piece as that required no modifications aka separating of plastic welds and putting them back together again. Also it doesn't have the light mechanism integrated into it like the door...
Thanks everyone, honestly wasn't too hard. Hardest part was plastic welding the panels back together perfectly. Have it down now though. If only I had the time to do it full-time lol.
NEt is from Amazon. 53" length. Cheap and easy. Really for me will be for like lite duty groceries and small items as needed. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CSJVJJ3V?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
It's just a cover. I always rest my elbow on center console and it's the first thing in every vehicle to show wear and tear so decided to run a cover. I like the factory look better honestly, but convert is the smarter play. Here's the link...
I'll start by saying I hate the white trim. Just gets dirty too easily and nothing else on the truck is white. No idea why Tesla decided to run with it as the limited edition foundation option. If you wrap your truck white, ok I get it then making for a complete look, other than that, I'm not a...
Bought 3 items from @BestEvMod(AOSK). Got the bed protector, center console cover, and center console storage tray. Some feedback on each and photos below:
Center console cover, fits good, stitching falls in line with design of truck which I like even more. To me center arm rests take a lot of...
Agreed, the consumption of Sentry on Cybertruck is crazy high!
I have a Model Y and Cyber, both parked in my driveway, both charged to 80%. Model Y charged to 80% by 3am. The Cybertruck charged to 80% by 8am. So the Cybertruck was charged 5 hours more recently than the Y.
I drove the Model Y...

Just share a link, everyone wants to post YouTube videos to get some sort of views and following. I don;t want to sit through a video to figure out what it is. Post a link and if it looks useful I'll buy.
