I don't know yet. Its making me consider other options.
I like it as a product, but the pricing gives me pause. I am going to consider all my options and wait for more information to come out.
On the bright side, we all have some time to digest this news, there is no rush to make decisions...
Similar for us. I was going to get FSD, but now if I move forward with Cybertruck I wont. Originally I was going to trade in our Model 3, but my wife's car got totalled so our goal changed to keep the Model 3 and just get the Cybertruck with no trade in. We can still do that, but its now right...
I am disappointed by the pricing on the dual motor. I thought it would be 10 to 15k less then this.
I do like the specs for the Dual Motor, and there is some interesting stuff from some of the pictures that make me think it will be a great vehicle, but I really need to think about the...
The Model Y launched in 2020, not 2019. It was announced in 2019. At launch, it cost roughly the same as the announcement prices. The announcement price for the Model Y was $51,000 and that is what it launched at. They actually decreased the price very slightly in July 2020 to align trim...
You are correct. I am assuming those who are unhappy with this range are all interested in the tri-motor version and are frustrated that the first Cybertruck released may not be a 500 mile tri-motor version they have dreamt of.
A dual motor with 300+ range is what was expected by those of us...
I am going to assume this is a beast mode version with the premium tires. Assuming the same battery size across Dual Motor and Performance Beast Mode versions (which I personally believe is the case based on all evidence), it wouldn't be shocking for the performance version to have around 300...
There are cupholders, we have seen them in pictures. There are two in the center console behind the phone docks. The current versions are angular. Watch any of the interior videos to catch a glance of them.
This video lifted from Tesla on twitter shows you where the center console ones are...
It wasn't, specific numbers weren't assigned based on trim. As far as we know its mostly sequential, and it is shared across multiple product lines, not just Cybertruck. I have a dual motor reservation (not that what you selected matters) and I am in the 112748XXX segment, which is roughly in...
Skipping over the fact the reservations are non-transferable for a moment...
Very early res starting with 1129? That is hilarious! Only those with an 1127 can be considered "early", assuming the numbers are followed sequentially by Tesla in the first place, which is not a guarantee. A number...
I like the startup light sequence, its brief and subtle, but has a little flair, which is great for long term usage.
The height adjustment was also nice to watch.
Thanks for sharing.
Anyone know the source of Liberty Lake getting one? That would be amazing since it is my local service center. I am having a hard time justifying the 10 hour round trip to Bellevue.
I would love Liberty Lake to get a showroom model, since I am in Spokane. I contemplated driving over to Bellevue, but its our son's birthday tomorrow and we just couldn't justify a trip over this weekend.
Sadly, I bet I will have to wait a while for one to be shown locally.
Historically there has been some specs and pricing at the these events.
For example, for the Model 3 Handover event they released the following information for both a Short Range and Long Range RWD models:
Range
0 to 60 Time
Top Speed
Price
They also typically show some videos and Elon talks...
