Was it just me or did September just draaaaaaag on this year? ?
I'd love for Tesla to get the CT out in October, even if it’s just for employees. They should ship one to every service center too, so the general population can check it out and the service members can learn how to repair...
I just looked at my Honda Fit yesterday and the wipers don’t clean that section of the passenger-side windshield either. I think the reason that it stands out so much on the CyberTruck is because of the size of the windshield itself (It’s huge!) I’m sure their are regulations that say X amount...
I predict that employees will get the first CTs by the end of this year (2023), just like they did when they released the 4680 Model Ys in Texas. At that time Tesla will reveal the model(s), specs, and prices. The single motor will be dropped, because it won’t be able to do all of the cool...
CT will be at least 6,000 pounds, probably more. Stainless steel isn’t light. And yes I know that it’s just the panels now and not the whole frame. That’s still made from an alloy of steel and aluminum. Trucks are heavy.
I agree, but I think Tesla, like Apple, will start removing things before they have a proper solution to replace them (removal of CD-ROM drive, removal of home button, eventual removal of charging port, etc.) I’m not sure if they do this to spur innovation, or what.
Great pics and video. Now we just need one that’s head-on from the front and rear. I think they look about the same height and length with the CT having a larger bed/vault, of course. Exciting times and two exciting EV pickups.
I think they’re going to leave it blank. There’s literally nothing else on the road that it could be. It will have people talking for ages. What is that? Who makes it? Whoa! WTF? Endless buzz.
Absolutely correct. The Model Y arrived ahead of schedule. The Model 3 did not. The CyberTruck is a unique beast set to turn the pickup truck segment on its head. It’s going to take time for Tesla to get it right and even then they won’t stop iterating. It’s in their DNA.
Yeah, I don’t understand why they aren’t putting the charging ports in the front of the vehicles, so if you’re towing something you don’t have to disconnect. It doesn’t make sense. This isn’t that hard to figure out.
