Tesla Shop confirms Cybertruck projection lights are for front doors only.

Appears true for CT since each door, or at least each side, has a 48v step-down, but, not true for any other Tesla, each of the two doors on each side has a shared circuit, and if both doors are opened at the same time, both puddle lights will dim slightly, more so in the older 12V models.

Tesla Shop confirms Cybertruck projection lights are for front doors only.

The Tesla puddle lights are quite chunky, and the connector is sort of dog-legged on top, so they’re tricky to get in, and if it’s the first time, the original lights are very tough to get out. The spudger does help and it’s what we always use, but it can still slip. The temptation to use a big...

    💪 Xpel Armor Protection - 20% off!

OK, the vault protection is live now, just in time to catch the end of the black friday/cyber monday deals. I mention it on the page, but these cuts take a LOT of material, so I'll probably run out later today, but I just got confirmation that the next batch arrives Wednesday, so if your order...

    Recommendation for fender protection?

They're a little more than big textured stickers in fairness, the product is very effective at what it does, and looks dramatically better than the factory trim. The XPel Armor has been used for many years for this type of application, although more normally for the lower third of doors on...

    💪 Xpel Armor Protection - 20% off!

So, the truck bed interior is finally done, and even if I say so myself, it looks fantastic. But, I think having installed it, the edges of the floor need to be Armored too (shown in orange). Thoughts? I realize that it has to stop somewhere, and I don't think it's practical to do the rest of...

Cybertruck Projection Lights / Puddle Lights now available in the Shop

Well, we're the company that have sold over half a million lights for Tesla's since 2013 ?, but that aside, it's not directly to do with the 48v system, other than that appears to make the soft fuses a lot more sensitive. The factory bulbs in CT are the same as in Highland, and of course...

    💪 Xpel Armor Protection - 20% off!

Bit of an update, I'm close to the final design for the truck interior. The back panel is easy enough, the sides are taking a lot of tweaking and material to get right. I think the lower panel will be too large to apply as one piece (just awkward/error prone), so might end up making that two or...

$6K to make Cybertruck UK legal

Yeah, agreed. If Tesla ever does a full refresh of S & X (I think X is extremely unlikely, unless it just becomes a regular full size 7 seater), then having steer-by-wire would be an obvious design choice to make a premium 'world car' with fewer homogenization issues.

$6K to make Cybertruck UK legal

Not having a RHD version killed S & X for the UK. I had a few LHD cars over there, and it gets real annoying after a while. Agreed though, CT for Australia would be a hit, and of course the middle east will find ways to buy them regardless.

CyberTruck customer service terrible- is it the same for Tesla Powerwall?

Yes, hopeless. Tesla is great, except when you need support, then it's not great. If you need to speak to a human, it's dire. This is their support model, so it's a good thing their stuff is generally reliable.

$6K to make Cybertruck UK legal

It would sell decent numbers in some countries. Having lived in the UK most of my life, I would never own a CT over there, just too cumbersome for a lot of the narrow lanes. Parking would be a nightmare (only Costco and Ikea have decent sized spaces), and some of the car parks in the cities are...

Installing Cybertruck OEM Projection Lights / Puddle Lights -- Front & Rear

Common issue with the puddle light locations in all their vehicles. We do have these if anyone has cables that are too short...the lights are wired before the door card is applied during manufacturing, so there's many times where the cables just vanish up into the door.

Use Caution If Purchasing From T Sportline

As @TWRAPS says, we're not all shipping stuff slowly, or out of China. Personally, I've not worked with T Sportline for a few years now, but they are one of the good guys and have been part of the Tesla community for years. Clearly, they dropped the ball here, but please trust me when I say that...

Cybertruck Projection Lights / Puddle Lights now available in the Shop

Oh, they fit, and it's the same connector as every other Tesla vehicle, so most likely it's either current draw or something on the PCB that has to be matched to what CT is looking for. The normal (non-projection) CT door lights are the same as used in Highland.

Cybertruck Projection Lights / Puddle Lights now available in the Shop

Don't think they will. It's possible our early-VIN CT is just fussier, we've certainly seen that with the internal light locations, but the OEM 3/Y puddle lights did not work in ours. It is the same connection, that's not changed since the first Model S's in 2012, but at the PCB level, something...

What is the blackest and least reflective wrap available?

also, the more matte the finish, the more fingerprints. If you think the naked Cybertruck is bad, try using a matte vinyl. The satin PPF's are a decent compromise.
