Rear camera, get a single drop of water and it’s suboptimal

You can tell it's starting to rain, this is the second thread I've seen today about this. We do have a solution coming, it's been well-tested on the 3 & Y's. None of the Rain-X type solutions work; I've tried them all, including the Glaco/Soft99 stuff - doesn't work. I'll mention it here...

The poor performance of the rear camera in not a very heavy rain

We have a solution coming for this, FSD is degraded when the rear camera is obscured...Tesla has done a lot of work to deal with occlusions, but there's only so much magic before the camera becomes useless. None of the other glass coatings work (lens isn't glass, for a start), tried them all.

Slow but reliable. Much like USPS at the moment. ?

Cybertruck side mirror vs Garage Door. How much to fix side mirror?

Weird...they should be able to order any part as long as it's listed separately. Not the first time a SC has been sketchy with parts orders though.

    💪 Xpel Armor Protection - 20% off!

You absolutely can @cali_doc , those areas are next on my list, as that plastic they used there is just weird. Not weak, but virtually impossible to keep looking good. Just finished the frunk lip, the truck bed is next, will post back here when it's done, might be a week or so since the sale is...

    James May broke the Cybertruck!

Lol. Barely, just messed with the mega-wiper, but I'm liking his vlog entries for his promo trip for his gin, with the sort-of-behind-the-scenes vibe.

Cybertruck side mirror vs Garage Door. How much to fix side mirror?

Here's all the prices. Just send a message to your SC for them to order-in, no reason at all to pay for labor, it's just 3 bolts and a wire connector, loads of videos out there show how to remove.

    Aliexpress Syndrome

This is not always true (but it certainly can be). We get offered a lot of stuff, as I'm sure do a lot of the after-market companies. Some of it, maybe 25% is utter garbage. 50% is ok (but not for us), the remaining 25% is either evolved into a product that's exclusive to us, or passed-through...

    💪 Xpel Armor Protection - 20% off!

Much more resistant than the factory trim, and since it's essentially think PPF, it'll self-heal in the sun.

    💪 Xpel Armor Protection - 20% off!

Seems to be working based on other orders, but you can also use "PROTECTION" at checkout to manually apply the discount code.

    💪 Xpel Armor Protection - 20% off!

Hi all We've been working hard over the past couple of months to develop a range of trim protection using Xpel Armor PPF. Don't let the 'PPF' mislead you, this stuff is tough, and application is very, very easy. It transforms the somewhat vulnerable Cybertruck trim into a tough, beautiful and...

    Puddle Lights That Work?

Please hit the Notify button on this page. We just tested 3 more versions (which were admittedly long-shots) but no joy. We have another version that's not a long-shot, but more difficult to develop, coming later this month, I'm much more hopeful for that one.

    Puddle Lights That Work?

Can confirm the Tesla OEM projection lights do not work on the Cybertruck, because that would be too easy, right?! We do have another prototype in the works, but it's probably 2 weeks out from being able to test.

Best Way To Fix A Dented Bumper?

We did something similar (scuffed a garage opening). It'll never look the same, but if you can at least reshape it, you could always cover it with something like this. Yes, it's a plug, but it's what I did, and half the reason I took the time to develop the product in the first place :) I'm...

Powershare update from Tesla (10/16/24): activation wait period, Powerwall, solar, backup switch

"2025" for those of us with Powerwalls kinda sucks. It's suitably vague in Tesla-speak to mean it could be a year (or more) off.
