There is a gap for the lighting to shine through and you can still use the l track where the panel is not mounted as you can see from this picture from my other thread about fitment issues in the back part.
It's very quick to adjust. The middle of the top bar is a handle that flips up to release the tension and retract the pins. Then you slide to whatever placement you want next, push it down to extend the pins and provide the tension again.
yes they have pieces that extend out into the holes when you bring the handle down from the middle of the divider. It’s not going to move in any direction. There is also a lot of tension that will keep them in there
The Ford F-150 with Powerboost is amazing for the trailer set up. You get all the torque you need from the electric side (570 lb-ft). 27 gallon tank to go the distance. 7.2 kW plug in power in bed with 30 Amp connection. Tow mirrors.. The back seat is also roomier than the Cybertruck. It’s why...
It’s a bit difficult to apply force on that bottom part.
When installed in the well fitting area above the “smugglers bay” it feels really solid and don’t think anything pushing the lower area will make it budge.
agreed it’s worse than it looks here. It is in the line of sight and I did have to hunch down to see properly. Going around curves in the rain at night was not fun.
Got some figures for people to reference but of course everyone’s set up will differ. They do ask for many pictures of your placement, panel, distance etc. $1050 for gateway and switch install. $1900 to install charger about 60’ away, outside. Unfortunately the panel is on the opposite side of...
By cam clip I mean this product. https://a.co/d/8lYZIkt. It makes tying things down with the cord a cinch (no pun intended). Transported a taller 30 lb propane tank with the included rings and this without any issue.
Looks like Willow Glen Electric (https://www.willowglenelectric.com/) is my assigned installer for the powershare. Will update if there is anything else meaningful to share.
Just installed some builtright and other Amazon molle storage. Helps keep some of the junk out of smugglers bay to free up space for the groceries, bags, etc. Aside from the first aid kit, I have an extension cord, paracord, cam clips, screwdriver set, lighter, flashlight, disposable ponchos...
Yeah if I use some “extreme” downward pressure on the side that hasn’t engaged I can get it to lock. Hoping somehow I can just get it to fit properly like the front.
