An issue I’m having you may want to check on your truck if you’re interested in the divider. It sits and fits perfectly into the tracks when placed above the storage compartment however if it’s sitting above the back floor panel it’s uneven so the locks will not engage. I’d rather have the divider not blocking my storage by default. I’ll see if they can take a look at my next service appointment.

Interesting, keep us posted on that.
With the frunk being kind of small a divider in the back is needed if traveling with a few people so stuff in the vault is not launching. Hopefully it is a minor issue that can be adjusted on the fly.

Yeah if I use some “extreme” downward pressure on the side that hasn’t engaged I can get it to lock. Hoping somehow I can just get it to fit properly like the front.

Tried the left right jiggle but no luck. It seems to be sitting too high. Here is how it naturally sits on both sides.

Yeah we had a lone suitcase flying around everywhere during one of our trips.

yeah, looks like some downforce is needed to align the locking pins with l-track holes. Maybe because of my bed floor is slightly lower but I was able to lock it in without much force, although some downward pressure was still required

If you step on the bottom flat part does that provide enough downward force to get it to lock?
Also while you are applying force to things, does the bottom feel sturdy? The top is locked in but the bottom track, is it wide enough to provide a good rigid brace if there were say a toolbox back there that slid forward or backwards?

Yea, especially the hard sided suitcases in a truck bed can do a lot of extra traveling, a strap on them or a good bed divider is a must, really hoping these Tesla dividers are a good solution given the price.

It’s a bit difficult to apply force on that bottom part.

When installed in the well fitting area above the “smugglers bay” it feels really solid and don’t think anything pushing the lower area will make it budge.

One other thought: hopefully someone comes up with a rubber bed mat cut to size and with an easy way to still open storage bin. A rubber mat largely obviates the need for a divider as it helps a ton with things sliding around. It also allows water intrusion a path to run down the side and under the mat so stuff in the vault on the mat should stay dry.

Have the same issue with mine; some areas it seems to fit well, other areas it seems it's not wide enough. Really a horrible product that I wish I wasn't too lazy to go through a return process for.

I don't think a mat would help. The liner itself is actually really good at keeping friction and holding things. No amount of mat or friction is going to keep anything remotely heavy from sliding around a CT bet though, given the torque and turning radius ;).

Good to know as that thing could take a LOT of force if something rolled into it.
Does the way it locks into the rail system seem pretty robust/solid?

yes they have pieces that extend out into the holes when you bring the handle down from the middle of the divider. It’s not going to move in any direction. There is also a lot of tension that will keep them in there

That is good to hear among the fitment and locking issues reported, glad that the bed divider appears to not be a miss for the truck.
Thanks for the insight.

Yes it appears my back floor panel isn’t sitting right and needs some adjustment to get the divider to line up. Otherwise it’s great

Same with mine. With some wiggling I got mine to snap it, and it's solid, which I like, I often have scuba tanks in the back. It is nice that it fits really solid but you can move it without tools, even if it is a bit tricky to get it to snap in place. I don't expect to move mine that often, so it's a good compromise for me on fit, being more on the secure side and less on the easy to move side.

I'm leaving it latched in place, hoping that with some driving and general flexing of the truck body, it will fit better when I try it again.
