Good move, they should take care of you. There is a poll in the top posts about this. Many ppl have been stranded with this issue. Its a recall/warranty replacement. Good luck!
Based solely on my acrylic block test, this could work too, and probably wouldn't noticably alter the light beam. It somehow would need to keep snow from entering from the side of the shield/tape, which might happen naturally. If you can make one give it a try!
Based on my tests so far with the acrylic block - probably. I haven't tested tape because I'm looking for something even easier, and didn't want to tape on the truck. Tape is definitely be cheap and super accessible. If you have snow give it a try!
I got to drive again in a storm with the acrylic block in place, but didn't get enough accumulated for a true test - where the bumper fills up with snow. The block iced over, and did not continue to accumulate. Light was still ample though the thin layer of ice. I can't wait for some...
I clicked "buy now", set them on the bumper shelf, and closed the frunk. There's much more effort involved in pulling over at night on a snowy highway to see again.
Of course it's going to accumulate some ice, light will shine through that just fine. The point is it won't accumulate 3...
I haven't had a real bad storm to test these yet, though initial results are very promising. There are only 4 left in stock (enough for 2 cybertrucks), so if you want this you better get em now before I have incontrovertible evidence of their effectiveness and ease of use. Once that post...
Rainbow rave changes the color to the music, but it definitely looks cooler than I am describing it. It seems intuitive as to when to fade to the next color or pop to it.
Just sayin, the rainbow rave in the holiday update is awesooooome. Kudos to the FUN team for that one. I got this great idea for another feature that would feel invisible on the UI. Simply let us select a 2nd color! The 2nd color becomes a "background color". The first color would...
Installed a second wall charger and the app gave me a 2 car garage now, nice! Anyone know how to swap the virtual charger locations in the virtual garage?
My of the shelf acrylic blocks came, and so far, so good. I got to drive in the snow this morning before sunrise, but not enough accumulated to block the unaltered light.
The mounting was incredibly easy, because the acrylic block is about a 16th of an inch taller than the gap, so the frunk...
I like easy: to get, to mount, to unmount. Found and ordered 2 of these.
Will mount with Velcro, and get back to y'all
- was it effective keeping snow clear?
- does it distort the headlights?
We shall see!

I could be going 15mph and the snow would still occlude the lights. The light from the frunk lightbar is horrendous, light reflecting off the snow is blinding. For snow driving, I would like it to be turned off completely. It's like driving through fog with high beams, only worse. I want...
You guys really know how to waste a thread. I'm obviously referring to a moving vehicle vigorously collecting snow, not a parked one colleting snow at the rate of a "moderate snowfall". Now, back to your prolific babbling.
Hi everyone,
I'm heading into my second snow season with the CT and have found that snow frequently blocks the headlights.
Besides standard options like not driving in night snow, frequent pull-overs or installing a complex heating system, has anyone found a novel way to prevent this snow...
