Just wanted to add. I had my PowerShare gateway installed on 1/31. They told me it could take a week to be enabled by Tesla so it will show up on the app.
Now, it is 2/5 and we have a power outage. I’m just short with the timing because it has not been enabled yet. So it is sad. ?
Yep, I had to get new keycards and reconnect my phone. They state it wasn’t the security module, it’s just that it has a new left controller which no longer had the original memory.
Update:
I was notified today that I could pick up my cybertruck. I spoke to ghe advisor for additional detail and I was informed that the internal left body controller went out and stopped communicating to the battery. They had the part in inventory and they replaced it. They did additional...

There’s always people who does that eh? But people didn’t bother to realize that I was about to head out for a road trip that is about 150 miles. So I normally charge to 80% to get there. For what it’s worth, I normally keep the battery at near to 60%.
I’ll keep others updated here but so far...
Update:
I received information today from the SC and they stated they have started the repair process with my cybertruck. An hour or so later, my cybertruck phoned home and it now shows “Parked” rather than “Last seen 9 Days ago”. This means there is progress.
So you did exactly what I did. Which I should have done earlier on the first attempt towing, by removing the wall charger from the wall. It would have saved me several days. In your case, a week! Glad they were able to tow it.

Yes sir, I hope to get it back soon. Hopefully I’ll hear something tomorrow, at least some communication of what really happened and I will share it on this thread for others to be aware. Luckily, I got a loaner, a model Y since that’s all they had. I already own the model 3 and other ice cars...
Nothing yet. I’m supposed to hear something tomorrow Monday or Tuesday. Expected resolution January 2nd but that’s dependent what they find tomorrow or Tuesday. Which I understand the delays due to holiday season.
By the way, I had asked about the mobile tech about this video and he said that is the last case scenario and it is NOT recommended. If that was done, he stated that it will truly “Lock” you out of the Tesla system. That is only to be used for First Responders in the case of emergency.
A lot of people missed the part that Tesla mobile did the same steps and process, including myself and the tow driver. What I ended up doing is removing my wall charger completely just so they can tow it, it’s an easy process that took less than 5 minutes to do. Not sure where you’re stuck and...
It doesn’t help when it requires you to open the tailgate and the tailgate requires you to have power. You see, it’s a flawed design. And yes, I read the manual.
