On my other post, I ended up disconnecting my wall charger from the wall. So my wall charger is taped on the tonneau while attached to the truck. It got delivered to the SC and won’t hear back until Thursday. Merry Christmas
nothing that was not already in the manual. He tried to pry the tonneau and tailgate to open but to no avail. So I suggested that I can take the wall charger off so it can be towed. So I did and the charger is still plugged to the truck. I guess it’s a flaw in my opinion because there is...
Update: no beuno. It’s dead dead. Although they tried to jump it, they can hear electricity circulating but not enough to power anything else. So it’ll get towed today and looked into Thursday.
yes, there is an emergency release in the back that is accessible from inside the truck bed. Since there is no power, can’t open the tailgate down to access it. So it’s a flawed design.
wow. I hope he can do it in my shop today if that is the case. It would be a literal Christmas miracle as I need it to travel today. I do hope this is what it is.
were you able to pick it up on the same day?
I am also in the same boat as you. I updated and it bricked Sunday morning. Waiting for the mobile tech tomorrow to get it powered so that I can unplug it from my wall charger. They couldn’t tow because the tow truck driver couldn’t get the 48v powered to unplug.
Dang! If that’s the case, perhaps it’ll be quick. But their first try will need to be able to power to get the charging cable out. Then tow. If it takes weeks, that would suck. Hoping to get a loaner. Sounds like this is trickling problem.
My cybertruck received a notification that it was ready to install the FSD 13.2.2 on Saturday, December 21st. Truck was plugged at 80% and I had started the update overnight. Woke up Sunday morning, December 22nd, and I could not get into the truck. It was completely dead.
I called in service...
Woke up Sunday morning, my cybertruck is dead. It had 80% battery and was plugged into. Completely dead. It’ll get towed this morning and we will see what the issue is. This is after the FSD 13.2.2 update Saturday evening.
