Towing tested with 6,000lb Tesla and trailer load

Yeah that's good she has an F250 then, because in this super rare situation, an EV just doesn't work. The good thing for Tesla is that scenario represents 0.01% of Cybertruck purchasers. There's always the Tesla Semi option which as you said above, the more you tow the more money you make...

Towing tested with 6,000lb Tesla and trailer load

That's nice !! An EV with a bigger battery gets better range, amazing really. Now people have an option, if they want an EV in a truck format that has better range towing, buy one with a bigger battery. The Silverado EV fits that bill. If you don't need to tow as much, which is 90% of most...

Towing tested with 6,000lb Tesla and trailer load

I'll be using it to put tools and materials from Home Depot and Lowes in it that wouldn't fit in my other cars, including my Model Y. Why would it be assumed that a truck would need to pull a trailer off the back to be used for work? Also, it CAN pull a trailer. Who says it cannot? Maybe you...

Towing tested with 6,000lb Tesla and trailer load

This is comical reading all these upset posts, as if this is a shock an EV, even in the shape of a truck, cannot tow very far without recharging. EV battery technology has not magically evolved all of a sudden. EVs are just not capable of towing very far because battery technology is still not...

Towing tested with 6,000lb Tesla and trailer load

Who buys an EV to tow?? Cmon. EV battery technology has not evolved enough for that task, we are a long time away from an EV being considered a realistic vehicle for towing. If you need to tow, get yourself a diesel pickup, end of story.

Beast better than AWD, change my mind

No way I'll own what will be/is known to be the "slow one" of a Cybertruck. 4.1 to 60 is slower than a TRX and a Raptor R. I own a TRX and no way I'm downgrading and letting the two dinosaurs of a truck beat the future... You can't own a Cybertruck and let those two fossils out accelerate you...

VIN might be assigned soon. PowerShare Update

Got that too for my Cyberbeast order, I doubt it has anything to do with a VIN assignment

How many employees will purchase FS CTs?

I'd expect a minimum of 1500-2500 employee vehicles to be delivered first, as they sign NDAs regarding issues and service visits. These units are used in the field to for training purposes at service centers so they can work out the bugs for actual customers and people who will come here and...

    Foundation Series Remorse

Everyone knows Tesla lies about range. They advertise 330 and you get 260 However on my Taycan Turbo, it was advertised at 240-something and I get 250-275 no problem. It's too bad Tesla isn't honest with their ranges like Porsche is, guess they think it will hurt sales Regardless my normal...
