Anyone else concerned about fog without radar?

Ok, so you’re not worried about fog. Are you worried about the car stopped in the road in front of the car in front of you that is playing on their phone?

Anyone else concerned about fog without radar?

That’s one reason I love where I am in rural Arkansas. 500k will buy you a nice 3,000 foot home on 40 acres all to yourself (with triple garage!), a pond, a boat, a barn, an ATV, a workshop, a tractor to maintain everything with, and a Cybertruck. Most importantly, all of this located with...

Elon: Cybertruck will not have door handles!

-Cr Yes Sir I am hoping that is the case. I don’t get much ice at home but I have a weekend house a few hours north on the lake that does get a moderate amount.

Elon: Cybertruck will not have door handles!

I have a motorized cover on my truck now and the CT cover looks almost identical. Yes, ice is definitely a problem. Luckily here we do not get a lot of ice. Ice is about the only thing that has ever stopped mine from opening. The motor times out after a couple seconds without movement. I have...

FSD Beta v9 v10 or any FSD Beta & children in car

I think this anger the OP has toward the maybe 100 at most FSD beta testers on the road with children in the car could have a much more effective impact if it was redirected toward the 100 MILLION morons with an iPhone in their face with children in the car. I don’t think the FSD beta poses even...

How can it be so affordable?

I understand, that’s quite simple. Demand for CT is very high. Is CT pricing going up?

    4-Wheel steering

Yes this is correct. Max load rating has other factors involved such as trailer sway at X speed with X tongue weight etc. The 4WS can help correct trailer sway to a certain degree so that adds to the maximum.

How can it be so affordable?

i wouldn’t consider it good. Average 15 unloaded.

How can it be so affordable?

I have experimented with fuel mileage by opening and closing my motorized tonneau cover on my F350 dually. I can tell no difference at all but that’s a whole different ballgame. Just because it has no effect on the Diesel engine doesn’t mean anything when it comes to an electric drivetrain. I’m...

How can it be so affordable?

I confess to not keeping up with the bill. When and how probable is this? Is it a point of purchase discount when you write the check to Tesla for your Model Y or does it come off your taxes when you file?

How can it be so affordable?

I am seriously thinking of purchasing a model Y long range now just to tide me over until CT arrives. I use my current truck for both work and as a daily driver but it’s showing it’s age and a few problems popping up. I’m thinking of getting the Y to use as my daily driver and only using the...

How can it be so affordable?

Does anyone think the price of the model Y will decrease when they start using the 4680 cells? I kind of want a model Y too. ?

How can it be so affordable?

I really hope Tesla honors the published price at least long enough for every single reservation holder from the first one to the last one has their chance to purchase. Now, if they changed the online price today of course it would only be fair for any new reservations made after the online...

How can it be so affordable?

    Gotcha? I can understand that.

How can it be so affordable?

I can see all of these points and they are definitely all valid and make plenty of sense.. I just think it will be odd to be at a Tesla dealership and see a basic model Y dual motor priced at the current $54,000, and sitting next to it a dual motor CT with all the above mentioned upgrades for...

How can it be so affordable?

The price increase on the Model Y this week got me to thinking…. How can the CT pricing that we all reserved not increase? The CT has many more options and is supposed to be priced nearly the same or even less in single or dual trims than the model Y costs today. If you were to take the current...

How does Tesla decide where to install superchargers?

Yes the truck stops do have bathrooms and some typical food options. Some parcels are near the truck stops but do not adjoin them. They are not far, but I don’t think would be considered walking distance for most.

How does Tesla decide where to install superchargers?

We are not on what I would consider a major highway but I would definitely consider it a minor artery. If you draw a line from Memphis to Little Rock the 4 lane highway runs very roughly that path(changing designations once or twice) and those are the closest superchargers being one end in...

How does Tesla decide where to install superchargers?

I’m sure they have folks with strategic plans who tally up data from whatever sources and decide which general areas would be the most beneficial for Tesla and for Owners but I’m interested to know how they decide on a specific location or a particular piece of property. I sit on the zoning...
