  1. Cybertruck Highway Range Test (Dual-Motor AWD) -- Run Until Battery Empty (by Out Of Spec)

    The Hummer EV isn't even 10,000lbs, & it has a 212kwh pack 50kw of additional pack weighs 650lbs (13lbs/kwh).
  2. Cybertruck Highway Range Test (Dual-Motor AWD) -- Run Until Battery Empty (by Out Of Spec)

I actually think the CT did ok considering the pack & tire combo. The Rivian is just going to be better under identical conditions (weather/tires) due to larger pack & better Cd. The CT Range Extender (vs max pack) is much better deal per kwh if it ever gets implemented, it is a poor design...
  3. Cybertruck Highway Range Test (Dual-Motor AWD) -- Run Until Battery Empty (by Out Of Spec)

OoS just did the same range test a week ago with the R1T DM Large & Max with an efficiency of 2.4 (2.41-2.38). Extrapolated it was 317mi/340miles to empty but significantly more than the CT. I did expect the CT to be worse as well but it appears the full 123kwh is useable I was only expecting...
  4. Cybertruck Highway Range Test (Dual-Motor AWD) -- Run Until Battery Empty (by Out Of Spec)

70% SOC is less than 180 miles under the same conditions. How much better do you think the CT would do in warmer temps. As speeds increase it only gets worse for the CT compared to the Rivian
  5. Wh/mile efficiency reported on the highway (heat on, 30°F, 85 mph)

500+ miles is a state away from 250 miles. At 100% of usable (approx. 115kwh) battery assuming 2.2mi/kwh you get 253 miles. No one is going to drive 100% to 0%. This is why people are disappointed. They are delivering an EPA of 2/3 of what was marketed & the hwy reality is only 2/3 of stated...
  6. Wh/mile efficiency reported on the highway (heat on, 30°F, 85 mph)

I would say that the local in town driving range is virtually irrelevant, the EPA could be 150 miles if you can charge at the end of the day who cares. It's the road trips where the range matters. This realistic 200-240 mile range truck is truly a joke in relation to what was promoted on day 1...
  7. Confirmed: 11,000 lbs tow rating / 2,500 lbs payload capacity (official specs)! + Shatter-resistant glass

Seriously where did you get this white knuckle complete nonsense from? The Rivian tows like a champ. I don't think you will find a more controlled trailering experience from any 1/2T.
