12/15 Orders (Batch 2) have not received a VIN yet. At this pace, it is going to be quite a few months until January orders see delivery. Unless the ramp changes velocity substantially.
Remember the fact the Model 3 ramp was significantly long. The CT is doing better according to the VIN...
I agree with many in this thread that tracking Order to Delivery Date is slowing down substantially. All of the deliveries are for 12/8 (first batch) time frame. Additionally the time is slipping, it was previously 30-45 days and now it is near 60-days+. They have not even made it to Wave-2...
@ConcreteTilt Thanks for the reporting and information. Ignore the haters ;)
I stopped by Dublin the other day and they still have a backlog of trucks waiting to be delivered. This information makes sense. Otherwise I have no idea why they have been holding on to trucks for weeks.
Thanks for that confirmation. I've been awaiting a VIN for > 1 month. Dublin is my delivery center. Hoping that they will send me a VIN and a quick pick-up. ;) 12/21 Order Date.
Great observation. Silly as it sounds, this may be what is holding up deliveries. These trucks may be missing parts. accessories, trim, etc... Which may explain why they have been on the lot for so long.
Suffice to say that if orders for 24' are all nearly sold, the Reservation Order tracking page is off by orders of magnitude. Or that severe production ramp issues exist, or both?;)
Heard that as well. News that if you have not ordered a foundation series - you may need to wait until 2025.
Additionally the delivery lead time is inaccurate based on current production volume. Jan - March delivery if you order today? No way if the Investor conference call is to be believed.
Such a shitty car wash. Apparently "Brand New Condition" is not universally accepted. Look at the base boards (black trim). What would you expect from a self wash though. 5/10. Video just for the views.
Wow. That is terrible. Now explains why the battery expansion is offered. Pretty much a requirement to tow. Any guidance on what that purchase would net you in terms of total milage under these test conditions?
