Oh, and while most of the reactions I've gotten up here in the PNW have been negative, last Wednesday we had a little get together at church to cook a some tin-foil dinners outdoors. One of the fellow dads came up to me with his daughters and said, "Girls, this is the person who owns the truck."...

This magnet humorously captures my sentiment right now, but I might wait until people stop burning Cybertrucks to leave it on.
I do agree with previous posters that the best way to deal with negative reactions is by ignoring them.
I got the double duece...
I must be in your neck of the woods. The Cybertruck is at the intersection of strong opinions on TRUCKS and POLITICS. I think most of the thumbs down I get in the county are from traditional truck guys who disapprove of the truck based on what they perceive as an infringement into their space...
Today marks the two week mark since I took delivery of my truck. I haven't made a trip yet where I haven't gotten a thumbs down, the bird, or had somebody on the side of the road scream obscenities as I passed. On the way to pick up some dinner, had some kid in his mid teens scream profanity at...
I've had thoughts of building an aluminum roof with a level top to fit under my rack. Headspace in the back seat is a little low for some of my taller friends. Also, it would better accommodate a turret ring, right?

Here is a shot of...

Cold reply: "Insulting you would be redundant"
I've had my truck for a whole two days and most public reactions and comments have been negative. It might just be the town I live in though. I'm expected as much and bought the truck anyway because it's the one I wanted.
Just a side note on the whole situation: I didn't let it ruin my day yesterday. I placed my pre-order 5 years ago this month. I had to wait until my budget could afford it, but I had a blast picking up the truck yesterday and driving it home.
Yeah, I'll wait for confirmation again on the price on my service request, but I will probably just make myself a little cutting jig and cut the holes myself.
That's not a bad thought altogether. It had come to mind earlier and I wondered if anyone in the PNW would want the trim without doors.
Thanks for the link to the parts catalog. I was having a hard time finding that earlier.
Hello all,
I took delivery of my Cybertruck AWD yesterday. To my disappointment, the roof trim panels do not have the little access doors to expose the rack mounting bolts. I won't be able to mount my @Mars Adventure Gear rack without purchasing the correct trim pieces, which run $540 a pair...
