Cold Feet - Taking delivery of Cyberbeast

Well this kinda a lot like you making me want to NOT pass! I have a Model Y right now and it’s a bit cramped for our family and dogs. I’m a tall guy and really want a bed to toss things in (strollers, kids bikes and toys, dog stuff, home improvement things.) I think you’ve convinced me ?

I feel glad that this hasn’t been my experience!

Cold Feet - Taking delivery of Cyberbeast

I've been driving one for a demo drive, and frankly most people have ignored it. Of course I'm in Texas and there are quite a few driving around so some of the novelty has worn off.

Cold Feet - Taking delivery of Cyberbeast

Heavy stuff, I'm sorry to hear. Convincing too. We've got two young kids (my daughter loves the cybertruck!) so I think some of the cold feet is just thinking "I could put the extra $1k" away for my kids or something - even though we already save for that.

Cold Feet - Taking delivery of Cyberbeast

Great input, and thanks. My Model Y was previously my most expensive car at like 62k, so this is definitely a new high. I kind of agree on the SUV, but I also want to do some "truck things" around the house with a bed. We recently moved and having a truck would have been great, albeit a luxury!

Cold Feet - Taking delivery of Cyberbeast

Thanks for the reply. 1) A couple reasons really. First, there were no more FS AWD available, second I think if I got the AWD I’d always wonder “what if” and wish I’d gotten the one I “really want.” 2) I would truthfully charge at home more. We’ve got cheap electricity and already have a Model Y...

Cold Feet - Taking delivery of Cyberbeast

I’m a very early reservation holder who has been dying to buy a Cybertruck since the 2019 announcement. I absolutely don’t “need” a Cybertruck, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting one. I was able to get a foundation series beast reserved with free supercharging, $12k off, and now the 0%...

Hopefully pulling the trigger soon - Incentives, Foundation, and VIN Questions

Do you think it's realistic? The financing deal ends in a couple weeks.

Hopefully pulling the trigger soon - Incentives, Foundation, and VIN Questions

It seems like the FS that are still local and available to me haven't moved yet, despite the promos. Does this mean anything about those specific VINs or it is just a hard time to sell a 100K+ truck lol

Hopefully pulling the trigger soon - Incentives, Foundation, and VIN Questions

I'm thinking I can put down the order fee and then in the week or two to arrange financing they should give me the VIN or at least the build date right? Is the idea just to avoid "early" FS builds? When were the last ones built? What build date was yours and have you been happy?

Cyberbeast doesn't get the rebate anyway, I don't want the base AWD (without white and the Cyber wheels) so I'm not too fussed about missing the rebate, thanks man.

Hopefully pulling the trigger soon - Incentives, Foundation, and VIN Questions

Hey all, As a very very early reservation holder, I've wanted this truck for a very long time. I did rent one for a few days last year and it just made me want one even more. I think I'm finally getting close to actually buying one, if our old house sells... There are obviously several...

5 Surprises after 20 Days with Cybertruck

Thanks, I agree on dogs in the bed, I wouldn't feel comfortable with it. My thought was we could have one in the back with the single seat folded up, and the two kids on the middle and the back right. Other dog could maybe share the floorboard with my wife. But, we also have an Explorer that...

5 Surprises after 20 Days with Cybertruck

I'm 6'5" and rented one recently. I also saw on in a show room. I was able to sit behind "myself" in my driving position and still have plenty of leg room. The head room is indeed tighter, but I still had a little bit of clearance to not really notice. Maybe a big bump would make me tap my head...

5 Surprises after 20 Days with Cybertruck

Great post, thanks for all the info. As a prospective (very early registration holder) I've been holding off on actually pulling the trigger. We have two larger dogs and our second kid is on the way soon. Are you able to fit everyone in the truck? Do the dogs go in the back? Thanks!
