In case we’re still talking about it… Black - Truck Red - Y
  4. Tire Rotation - how you getting it done?

I said this above. I agree. My 4 ton jack would leave a mark without it
  5. Tire Rotation - how you getting it done?

I got pucks to not mark up the underside, but also for additional height. I suppose that won’t be necessary. Thanks for the write up, I’ll be doing my first rotation in about fifteen hundred miles.
  6. Tire Rotation - how you getting it done?

I am yet to rotate the tires on the truck. I have two 4 Ton hydraulics jacks. Rotating tires on the Y is a breeze. I am gathering there are 3 key differences: 1. Using hockey pucks vs Tesla specific lift pucks. 2. Placing the truck into “jack” mode 3. An extra lug nut, per wheel.

  9. OEM Tire Replacement - I need new tires soon...

Very interested in this as well. Just curious @sgmorton: 1. How many miles did you get out of your tires? 2. How often (if, at all) did you rotate?
  10. Spare Wheel Options?

I’m not having great luck finding a used wheel locally, and $1,250 seems excessive from Tesla. The bolt pattern of 6 x 139.7 is quite common. Has anyone else had luck finding a wheel that fits from another OEM?
  11. Tesla Now Sells Car Parts Directly Online - Supports Consumer Right to Repair

  12. Windshield Wiper - Snow Mode Question

As we approach the potential first snow, is there a way to lift the wiper so it doesn’t freeze to the windshield?
  13. Portable generator as "Range Extender"

That’s like buying a portable nuclear reactor, then attaching it to a back pressure turbine and saying you power your house off the grid.
