Long time lurker and finally took the plunge, made the decision last night and picked it up tonight. Lease with about $13000 in discounts made it irresistible. My lightning was great but this is just awesome plus it amazingly fits in the garage...pickup was amazing coming from traditional dealers

Hey Mike
Can you show us rhe breakdown of the $13K savings?

I got a 2024 base: breakdown as follows:
$4000 off (found a "new 2024" in inventory by my zip with that amount off)
$1000 referral credit
$500 additional referral credit (so really not off but $500 in accessories)
$7500 EV credit (2024 is not eligable for standard $7500 but is if you lease it)

price: $79,990
Deliver: $1995
$81,985
discount: -$4000
referral credit: -$1000

after discount and referral credit: $76,985

Then lease: $7500 down applied from the EV Credit (I put $0 down)

first payment is more than 0 of course (tax+4 year reg + lease fee + first payment = ~$3100)

now I can buy outright for likely just under 70k or continue to lease with interest of 6.9%

Nice! As a lighting owner and now CT owners, how does it compare?
The lightning was great as it felt so familiar to me (Have had about 5 F150's)
Pros over CT: more room inside, much bigger bed and frunk, works with standard pickup accessories
cons comp to CT: much less aero especially on highway so range is significantly less although I had the SR

CT Pros over Lightning: range, tech (it is like a space ship), FSD works on all roads hands free not just highways (although BC with updates was excellent), size is better for me, fits in garage and easier to park, turning radius and overall steering is better

Lightning was the best pickup truck that I had had in overall function (other than range). CT feels like the future of automobiles.....its funny because the crazy exterior styling took a while to grow on me but driving one sold me on it.

So cool Man! congratulation, gorgeous! I should be getting mine Friday, same config like yours, did a buy as I have a Biz and wanted 179.... what made you choose the Core wheels? I did too, but always thinking the Cyber wheels look better, but core drive better for everyday.

Congrats!

I owned a Lightning for a short period and test drove a Cybertruck during my ownership. The CT ride and nimbleness blew away the Lightning. The tech on the CT is on a different level.

I was keeping cost down but also wanted the additional range. After seeing them in person I actually like the wheels better even with the covers. Without covers they look a lot like the foundation wheels without their covers.

I may eventually upgrade the tires alone or get a takeoff set of the all terrains but these ride fantastic and have M+S rating

After months of loving the cyber wheels, the tax incentive only applied to configurations with core wheels. When I saw them in person and after some time owning the vehicle, they REALLY grew on me. These things are massive, they are Pirelli Scorpions which have really nice threads. Overall core wheels look great in my opinion. Would I get cyber wheels if I need to buy new tires and throw snow tires on the cores? Yes. At this time though I love my core wheels. Bonus points for the additional range.
