iām not bitching about when i get to take delivery of my CT. At least not yet.
Iām bitching about the negative effect of this referral program on other CT reservation holders in a state like Virginia or Ohio.
I could understand the reason behind it, and it kinda makes sense.
Meanwhile, correct me if wrong, that's like a straight middle finger to CT reservation holders in Virginia (and maybe Ohio?), because we don't even get referral credits by law. 45 days from RN to a CT on the driveway? I have...
That was the production rate back when we still had the automatic VIN tracker, which was about 3-4 weeks ago. It was ramping steadily then. I sure hope the rate is many more than 50ish per day nowadays.
Sweet, big congrats!
My RN is very close to yours and we ordered on the same day, but I'm in the Virginia. So far, no VIN is assigned here yet. Your post is very encouraging as it suggests that Tesla is expanding the delivery into more states and CT shipment is coming to the east coast.
One more thing I wanted to point out: I have a friend, again in VA, who ordered his FS AWD on January 13 and was provided with the same delivery estimate of January to March, and based on what I know, any orders after that weekend received an updated delivery estimate of February to April. So...
(RN11275xxxx.....Ordered 12/16......FS AWD......Estimated January to March delivery.....located in VA.....still VIN-less :()
I am getting tired of waiting. I have seen some people in CA/TX who had a later RN and ordered after me took delivery.
This is not making sense anymore. If you say the...
a 'bearish' arm chair trader to be precise.
You missed the keynotes from the 4th quarter earnings call: at the current order conversion rate they are expecting to sell out all 2024 production. That order conversion rate is referring to FS CT orders.
'... they make 25k units this year and not...
my guess is between $900 and $1,500, including the cost of installation at a service center. I think that's how you will pick up this light bar. They probably won't ship it to you directly.
that 48v power is only available when you turn it on from the screen. So even if you can find a 48V light bar and get it installed, Tesla still dictates when you can use it thru software to comply with the laws.
I think the reason that we donāt see much allocation in states other than CA/TX Is because Tesla is still delivering orders for the first wave (12/8-12/9), which are mostly CA and TX. Once they are done with the first wave, the allocation for other states will pick up rather quickly, especially...
I have been checking multiple times per hour since January. It's worst than waiting for my Model 3 early 2018. Back then I waited one month to receive my VIN after placing the order, then another month to take delivery after the VIN assignment.
I donāt think there was any break between December and January. Invites were emailed every Thursday and Friday of the week. There have been like many waves of invites.
