Virginia just had its first CT delivery. Not sure if this guy Ethan is this forum or not. If I can get a hold of him in the facebook group where this was posted, I will try to remind him post his info here. Still very excited for VA and all east coast!!
By now, we know that the reason can't be 'serviceability.' because in places like Northern Virginia there are three service centers within 35 miles of each other. The reason can't be 'cold weather' either because places like Oregon, Colorado, Washington are nowhere warmer than the east coast and...
During our last salty round, some smart pants came out and educated everyone by saying that East Coast/Mid-Atlantic region has no delivery because it lacks major interstate highway to Austin. This guy said that all the states with on-going deliveries have interstate highways linking them to...
during the early days of model 3 delivery, Tesla didn’t follow RN either. Bach then legacy Tesla owners got priority. I waited in line outside a Tesla store at 3:30am and was first 25 people who reserved, but had to watch ‘rich kids’ zipping around in their parents’ Model 3 during early delivery...
That would be great! I know about ten people waiting for their CTs from Vienna store. Everyone had an estimated delivery between January and March and most of them ordered in December, including myself.
Did you try to speak someone at your designated delivery/service center about your VIN? I thought in some cases that they have located the truck and even scheduled the delivery on the spot.
Yep, maybe a VIN is matched behind the scene as well. Lots of VIN assignments are happening these days, and there are some positive signs of production ramping. East Coast could use some belated love!
Same here. After 75-day of waiting, still no VIN, but got the same email from Tesla matching me to a local certified installer. Hopefully VIN will arrive in the next day or two? ?
yes, thanks. so the Northern Virginia has 3 service centers within 35 miles of each other, yet still not good enough to jump start the delivery. Should we conclude that serviceability is not a concern.
Another FL order cut the line. Both my RN and order date are in front of his.
I asked Grok to rank the top5 east coast states with themost number of Tesla service centers, and here's the answer:
1. Florida: 8 service centers;
2. New York: 5 service centers;
3. Massachusetts: 3 service centers...
As much as I hate to see things happening at the very end of the forecasted time frame (because it feels like people either procrastinate the hell out of things till the last minute or are bad on estimate things), I hate even more of the dead silence: if delivery is postponed for certain states...
I know you previously chose not to include VIP deliveries, but it's nice to see you still include them but with a different color now. Looking at the latest map, the east coast is still trailing behind.
If weather is one of the concerns, then OR and WA would experience the same issues on range...
