2 CybertruckS (plural) Trailered Tow Through Stockton CA!

I don’t know about an event, but it sure seems like a lot of them moving around in a very short period of time. Prior to this, Tesla shipped them in covered transports. Even when they were going to/ from public events they were in covered carriers. Remember there is one in New Zealand right...

Cybertruck Power Liftgate Patent Published -- operated by smart phone or wireless key fob

Maybe some kind of electrical motor with a screw drive? Seems like a lot of torque needed for lifting so much weight with a short arm.

Zooom, enhance…. Maybe powered by the compressor used for the suspension? The image is a bit confusing because it shows the piston is 2 positions at once. It shows the extended position behind the compressed position and the lever it controls is also sort of in 2 positions at the same time...

I think they split out “Manage Order“ as well? (I pasted it together here) I don’t think they had a conspicuous Cancel Order link previously either, I think you had to email to do that. Or maybe I hallucinated the whole thing.

10 millionth 4680 cell produced at GigaTexas

CleanerWatt suggests GFT is producing 100,000 cells per day. Fremont is way ahead of this right now. That’s roughly 85 - 100 trucks worth per day. These numbers are a total swag on his part, but the numbers fit. In January Tesla said they had 1 line running, not clear if this is with all 4...

I wasn’t clear. I meant the rear roof. I’ve been noticing for a while how much darker the back of the truck is. Very few pictures reveal the back seat area.

I’ll buy that. So it’s possible these passed through Stockton. But that’s not what’s in the photos. Lots of flat… maybe some decent delta views.

That is maybe a little too subtle a joke. Tesla is camouflaging their cars even right now with the Model 3.

I think just darker tint on the rear window then. Similar to the Model Y.

The hills aren’t in Stockton. I’m 99% certain there isn’t a place that looks like that within 5 miles of Stockton City limits. Also, If you are going to Sparks from Fremont, taking 80 right out of the Bay Area is going to chop about 30 miles off your drive. Sadly… I know entirely too much...

Dry brown hills are kind of endemic in the East Bay Area and I5 southbound from the Bay Area. Could near Mission as well, hadn’t thought of that.

How many Cybertrucks deliveries in 2023 ?

“Best In Tesla”…. Meh. Not a source I trust. They seem to crank out a lot of very optimistic content with lots of hopium. I’m not discounting the numbers entirely. But I’m not sold they have any insider info.

Mostly agree. Particularly about durability. But people like to personalize vehicles. You spend $70,000 on a truck and you want it in your favorite color. Tesla didn’t want **PAINT** because painting a vehicle massively slows down how quickly you can get a vehicle out the door. When you paint...

I’m pretty sure the Tweet was sent from Stockton, but the photo with the brown grass looks much more like either I5 near Paterson, or somewhere along 580. There aren’t any hills like that in Stockton, it’s extremely flat. We used to joke that the tallest hill in town was the City Dump. I would...

Cybertruck Predictions - Battery Size & Range!

A fairly reliable source told me Texas is producing their gen 2 cells and that’s what the Cybertruck will ship with. We don’t have much info on those cells so hard to say where density will land.

Everyone is waiting 4+ years, people who ordered the week after launch probably 5+. Takes time to go from 0 to a million trucks

Cybertruck arrives at New Zealand airport for winter testing

It’s a pretty vague image. Why would someone fake this? No clue if it’s the Cybertruck… if it’s in New Zealand, or when it was even taken. Not saying it’s fake. Not saying it’s legit. But the timing is similar to Model 3 testing.
